After a lady canceled on me last minute this salon was able to squeeze me in! I’ll be forever grateful! The stylist I forget her name but she’s tall light-skinned and beautiful did my hair hair! She was very nice and professional! She accomplished the style I wanted and I’ve had several compliments! However, I got my hair done Saturday morning and sadly have to take it down!!! Three of the flat twists are extremely tight and have cause a knot on the back right side of my head!! Now many would blame the stylist but I will not for this is the style I wanted and it was on natural untamed hair!!! The stylist performed a miracle on head if I’m being honest and she asked several times if it was to tight! It wasn’t at first but seems like as time went on the tighter it got and nothing I’ve tried loosened it up! I will most definitely go back and choose a style where one doesn’t have to work so hard to accomplish on my type of hair!!! The prices were fair and the customer service is amazing!!! This place was suggested to me by my sister while I was visiting Fayetteville, NC from the DC area. My stylist (Damajah) was very professional. She answered my many questions, offered some hair care suggestions and worked with me to make sure I got a style that I loved. The environment was clean, friendly(not overly so) and welcoming. I didn't even have to wait to see the stylist. The stylists and clients were of various ages and races. As I looked around all the stylists seemed very knowledgeable about different hair types & styles and their specific hair care needs. I have never met or visited a salon that displays such professionalism. Valerie (the owner) is a very talented,patient, creative and kind person. She keeps up with the latest trends, styles and techniques. Her many acomplishments displayed speaks for itself. Illstylz is a very clean and quiet establishment. Its easy to set up a appointment and there is a enough time allotted so that Valerie could focus on your desired style.
