What childhood memories. I was going there when "Munce' ran it in the 1960s. It was a cart with a tiny bubble cab in front that you could drive if I remember. When I moved, Munce would sell me a huge box of Sabrett's to take home when I visited because you couldn't get them in the south. Still hard to find and expensive to get the natural casing dogs south of NJ. I would always get one with mustard, chili, and onions and one with mustard and saurkraut. His chili is the best. There was a place in Elizabeth, I believe, called Father and Son that was pretty good, but they put a lot of clove and lentil filler in...

Update: they are not always at the park and there's no way to contact them to verify their location/hours. Walked all the way from Elizabeth on 4/26 and they were not there. They should create a facebook page to advertise their daily location and hours, or at least have a phone number. The homemade chili is the best!! One hot dog with chili, cheese and a slice of mustard comin' right...

These dogs are straight up fire.
