This establishment does not even deserve 1 star. On 3/16 I made an appointment via Zenoti their self-scheduling application for 3/28 @6am. On 3/26 I called and left a message to ask some questions about my appt and of course no one answered or had the courtesy to return my call. So on 3/27at 8:20am I went to the salon to confirm my appt and ask my questions. Keemah (stylist and owner) pretended she didn’t know me or know that I had an appt. She proceeded to act like she was in a rush and said she would text me later. It has now been 16 hrs after my encounter with her and still no text. My appt is suppose to be in 4 hours. What I later found out is that she canceled my appt while I was standing there and deleted my profile. Not only was that a coward move KEEMAH on your part but not how a business owner should treat any customer. You could have told me to my face you did not want to serve me. Instead you ASKED ME what I was getting and then canceled my appt. If you didn’t or couldn’t do a sew-in at 6am SAY THAT THEN or don’t make it a 6am service…period! I guess you don’t recall me having a $60 credit either for my last service with you. I’m sure that vanished along with my appt. I will make a complaint with the BBB for that. Keemah you can’t say it was because I didn’t confirm. Your self scheduling system that you chose to represent your business sent me a text 22hrs before my appt (8:05am) saying “we look forward to seeing you at 6am on 3/28”. That’s only 20mins before I showed up to your salon to speak to you. So where is my “your appt has been canceled” message Keemah??I wanted to see if you gave my appt away so I went in to schedule an appt for my same time (3/28 @6am) and guess what it’s still available. I uploaded a picture showing 3/28 at 6am is still available (which proves she not only canceled my appt but refused to serve me). I also uploaded a photo of my message saying see you on 3/28. I WAS NEVER SENT ANYTHING STATING MY APPT WAS CANCELED? I would never give my money to anyone that is as spiteful and horrid as KEEMAH because she never tried to make what might have been a misunderstanding right (not a good business practice)! DO NOT BOOK ANY SERVICES WITH THIS SALON. KEEMAH WILL LIE TO YOUR FACE AND LEAVE YOU HIGH AND DRY BEFORE YOUR EVENT!!!! This is what happens when you try to support our people.
P.S. USE YOUR CREDIT ASAP OTHERWISE YOU WILL NEVER...
Read moreVery unprofessional. I made an appointment on styleseat that was confirmed via email. I walked into the salon and a stylist (with green hair, I did not get her name) looked at me surprised. I said, Hi, I have an appointment. She was dismissive & told me that I did not have an appointment. I began to show her my confirmation email & told her I made the appointment on Styleseat. She went on to say it was my fault for not calling and did not comprehend why I was frustrated that she was telling me that she was done for the day. I told her that she was being very nonchalant and it was not good business practice to not at least acknowledge that it was the shop's error in not making sure that Styleseat was blocked out, as it accepted & confirmed my appointment. She said that it was not poor business practices and "Styleseat is just a system that we use" and that she was done for the day. I said again, that it is the shop's responsibility not the client's to know how their scheduling system works and that there was not notation on Styleseat saying that the client should also call to confirm. She told me it wasn't up for debate & she wasn't going to argue with me. I was not arguing, but stating a point that she should at least acknowledge the error. I wasn't even making demands for her to honor the appointment as I would never want her to touch my hair, given her attitude and poor customer service practices. She followed me to the door and I turned and said, Well, I can see why there was a one star review, she said "Yeah, that's okay and that's why you need your hair done." as she closed and locked the door. There were others in the shop during our entire exchange.
I have dealt with many salons both high end and very basic over the years, I arrive on time to appointments and am a respectful client. I have never experienced something like this. I sincerely hope that this stylist was not also the owner of the salon. If she was not I hope that the owner will take the time to educate her about how to handle...
Read moreI loved going to the salon, getting my hair done, and the way it came out. However, I was treated very rudely. I called to say I would be 25 minutes late for an appointment. (Medical professional dealing with an emergency). At first I was told it was ok. I receieved a call 20 minutes later that I had to reschedule. I was giving the biggest party of my life that night and had to wear a wig. I show up at the salon anyway just to make an appoinmtnent for another two weeks. I show up for my appointment two weeks later and I was told they were unaware that I had an appointment so I had to settle for whatever they could do in the time frame they wanted to leave. At this point I had not had my hair treated in 4 weeks. I had proof of the appointment on my phone (that stated I wanted hair added and color). At this point I am livid but decided to reschedule anyway. To add insult to injury, I was told to wait to make an appointment. I then asked the stylist call me because I did not want to wait at this point. (nor should I have too.) I never got a call...I drove 90 minutes to go to this establishment and this is how I...
