Hamilton Stage, Union County Performing Arts Center — Attraction in Rahway

First time at this stage and saw the musical Ghost. Awesome! Small venue but not a bad seat in the house! Purchased the Sweetheart table and loved it! The perfect option for my husband that walks with a cane. The director, Brian Remo sat us and made sure we had everything we needed, he even stopped by at intermission to check on us! You could tell he was very passionate about his job and this show, which was superb! The only bad note was parking, due to an earlier show on the main stage the parking lot behind the theater was full, no street parking either but, we got a spot in the parking deck about 6 blocks away. The show was superb. The quality of the voices quite impressive. The "costumes" were varied solid color dresses on the women and solid colored long sleeve shirts on the men. It was an absolutely enjoyable evening. The Hamilton Stage of UCPAC is easily accessible off​ Rt 27. The Hamilton parking lot is convenient and would be good, but patrons for the main theater are directed to the Hamilton lot, therefore the lot is full one hour before the Hamilton show. Attended a lovely baby shower here and enjoyed the upbeat atmosphere with fun artwork and wide open spaces (high ceilings). Bonus: there was plenty of parking in the back, nice entrance, front and back, big space for the reception and then a large, well-lit (natural light) room for the food and games part.
