This is a huge gym. Love the atmosphere and all the trainers are super nice. Really, everyone I've talked to is friendly and helpful here. I go in the mornings so i don't really know how the other staff is there. The place is always being cleaned when I am there so the gym is also really clean. The only thing I wish they would do is keep a check on the protective equipment like the weight belts. some of the velcro belts have been worn out and one of them busted open on me when I was doing heavy squats. I waited around until the office opened up and brought this to the attention of one of the staff one day and months later its still there. Since all the good belts are usually being used I ended up just sucking it up and buying a personal one. No big deal in the end since now I don't have to wait on a belt to do my exercises but something you may want to know if you are thinking about going...

This has to be one of the coolest most well equipped gyms I've ever been to. I spent two hours working out just so I could check out all the different cable and plate loaded machines. Every cable machine I used was well oiled and moved freely, no rough spots on the cable, all the pads were new with no tears, no bent bars or dumbbells, and so many unique pieces of equipment. There were three machines just for training rear delts plus all the different cables. They also have a powerlifting area in the back and are bodybuilder friendly (they actually host the spray tanning for one of the biggest bodybuilding shows in Alabama which is extremely cool). Needless to say the place is big (upstairs and downstairs) but still very clean. On top of all that the staff were extremely professional and friendly. If I lived in Gadsden I would be at this gym...

I moved to Steele from Oneonta and decided to get a gym membership at this place and worked out there for the first time today. It was amazing, they had two floors of literally everything you could ever think of having in a gym. I loved the fact that they had a Jacobs Ladder machine considering how expensive those are, I will definitely be putting that one to use! This place is sick. There's even a shake shop inside.

Edit: after working out here for a while you will realize that you will never be able to do your full planned routine because the place is just way too crowded. I had to cancel...
