Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Rainbow City

I'll start with my pet peeve and go from there. If I want ice cream, I know where to get ice cream. I don't order a milkshake when I want ice cream. I order a milkshake when I want a milkshake. A milkshake by definition is a DRINK! If it is literally impossible to take a drink through the oversized straw, it is NOT a milkshake! It is ice cream in a cup. I know that we have been in this mindset for decades now that thicker is better. Stop it! There may be a perfect thickness. Thicker may be better. But that thickness should stop at the point of being able to drink a drink when I order a DRINK! Now, on to the rest of our order. Keep in mind I'm not rating the service or speed as I got delivery. We were missing one order of tots. One order of tots had sliced cheese instead of the shredded cheese specifically ordered. The requested ketchup and mustard were missing on the coney. The egg on the bacon egg toaster was way overcooked, to the point of being rubbery, and there was so much salt on that sandwich that it was inedible, as in two bites then tossed in the trash. That leaves a total of 2 items that were satisfactory. The medium sweet tea was sweet tea, not bad and not especially good. The medium grape slushy was ice with grap flavoring, good job, got that one right. Now, this is the only time we've ever ordered from this location. Maybe it was a fluke. Maybe they're usually on it. I will NEVER go back close to Sonic on rainbow dr around closing time. We had been shopping and stopped by on the way home. Our order was wrong but the worst part was when children started going around and around in the parking lot parking across the street and being picked up by others and brought over. Idk how many ended up behind the building but it was total Kaos. We left while even more came. It was like a back woods party in the middle of Rainbow City. Where r parents or even better the Police. I think our teens should have something to do but supervised behavior has to b put in the mix. I also want to say these were not just our rbc kids as well. False advertisement! I ordered on the app. BOGO foot long coney. I even received and e-mail encouraging me to order this on the app. The hot dog was not very good. Also, I was charged for the one that was suppose to be free. When I call the app customer service a foreign man tried to tell me I would have to pay full price for 2 and then I would have received the 3rd on free. I told him thats not what it stated it was BOGO. When he realized I wasn’t going to fall for that excuse then he told me that it would have to be investigated and someone would contact me later.
