Rainier True Value — Local services in Rainier

Have you ever been to Lowes, Home Depot, or other big box store and have a problem finding what you are looking for...and having a problem finding someone to help you? Yeah, so have I...and I hate it. I recall a time years ago...before dirt was invented, when you went to a store and the workers knew your name...and greeted you. And when an employee did not know about a product they would get a colleague to help you...and the employee would stand by to listen and learn. Well, if you miss those times...or would like to experience yourself, then visit this hardware store. Friendly and helpful people who realize the necessity of great customer service, because that is what creates loyal customers. A quality that the big stores try to mimic...but fail. I will drive from my home in Longview, WA to Rainier, OR to purchase my hardware...I like this place and I like the way my business is...

Great True Value store in Rainier Or. They have most anything you may need for basic home repairs at reasonable prices. Very convenient location and the staff is incredible. Great service every time I've been in there. Beats having to go across the river to the warehouse stores and pay sales tax. True Value is what you get in this store every time. Nice having them in Rainier and it's nice supporting a local business, they're located on the main drag down by the railroad tracks easy in and out. Thanks for being part of...

This is a nice, LOCAL hardware store which we all know is hard to even find anymore. The staff are always helpful, even when a little busy, and are always nice and friendly. Yes some things might cost a few cents more, but maybe it's what you would have spent on gas to Longview? They don't have everything but they sure have a lot for not being a large box store. When you call they always take the time to look for the part or they actually, yes wait for it,...
