I can’t rave enough about this place. I was gifted a Guinness stew pot pie for Pi Day by a coworker. (Aww yay!) I took it home and baked it per instructions and almost didn’t want to share! (Even though it’s huge and will feed two adults.) Seriously the best savory pie I’ve ever had in my life. No chef, no mom —even my own— ever came close to this delicacy. So of course we had to go to Rainier. It’s a welcoming and happy place. Easy parking. My bf had to get a pic on the “stick of butter” seats. So cute! (Yes, both :) The people are super nice and friendly, eager to please, and play up each others’ strengths when complimented. Everything we bought was amazing. The lemon pie was almost as dense as a cheesecake, so beware! This is practically a meal by itself! He loved it. The local honey is what you always wished honey tasted like. The bear claws—don’t get me started! And my favorite sweet thing there- the hand pies. Holy smokes! New level unlocked. If you go in there and wonder “should I try this?” Yes. You won’t be disappointed. Whatever it is. Yes.

Absolutely love the delicious baked goods here. I'm so thankful our little town of Rainier has a bakery! My daughter loves their drinks they make, yesterday she had a Chai-der(chai cider) with the tiramisu (not too sweet with a punch of expresso flavor) and I got their soft but chewy ginger cookie with lemon zest frosting that had such a mouth watering zing. I also got their nutty butter cookie but ate it so fast before I thought to get a photo. The frosting in the middle of the cookie was perfectly creamy and almost better than eating a nutter butter except the cookie part has a twist, instead of a peanut butter flavored crunchy cookie shell it's made with a crisp but chewy oatmeal cookie (without the raisins). The owners run it and make their own goods as well as support other businesses like local farms, local coffee roasters and local artists from our little community. Absolutely a must stop if you are pulling through town. Let's support local businesses and help our little community grow 🪴

[ ] Ham and cheese pocket- good, but after eating the jalapeno popper this one was kind of lackluster. [ ] Jalapeno popper pocket- very tasty, good kick, excellent pastry. Both pockets had a great pastry. I'd get this one again. [ ] Carrot cake scrappie- Whitney seemed to enjoy this. She ate the entire thing so it couldn't have been bad! [ ] Apple hazelnut snack cake with toffee buttercream- don't need again. Didn't carry a ton of flavor. [ ] Lemon gingersnap molasses cookie - so good! I didn't get a ton of lemon but the zippy lemon glaze complimented the cookie so well. If absolutely get this again. [ ] Caramel cinnamon roll- good cinnamon roll. Not the best we've had but very enjoyable. I'd get another. [ ] Choc chip cookie - good cookie. Nothing earth shattering but worth getting.
