LENGTHY REVIEW? YES! BUT, well deserved and needed when I was one to list the bad ones and was a naysayer to not feeling like I wanted to be here prior to RECENT 2023 CHANGES at FALLS CREEK! Being a long term resident of this community since 9/2018, I was sold on this place based off the level of office personality by a previous Asst Manager Carmela who by far was always courteous, professional and showed empathy and passion in all she did. The maturity of this community was 3rd on my list of must have as new communities do not offer landscaping that helps keep apartments cool. The 2nd must have that we are a community nestled around residential single family homes which is rare with the growth of Raleigh. I am extremely maticulous in what I call home and where I live and I have to say in ALL my years hear I can still count on 1 1/2 hands the issues I have had and they were only related to a/c units 2 summers in a row. Early 2021 all through end of 2022 there had been a different presence in the office as it relates to the management team mainly due to the "acting" community manager during this time. The at the time assistant manager Lydia came on board along with a leasing professional Amonique that I have witnessed treats all resident interaction the same they come in to contact with. I was ELATED to see the CHANGE that I was unaware of since I do not go into the office due to the dark presence referenced earlier. I AM GLAD TO SEE the small but impressive changes with Lydia as the community manager and Amonique still in the office. When I enter my workorder requests, they are answered. I am contacted when there are going to be a back order for example on my microwave repair or if they have to enter the apartment or garage clicker is not working. Change and improvements take time when it has been misrepresented by previous circumstances. Oh.....I have NEVER had a leak, flood or PEST issue either as I would think since I am in the wooded area of the community there should be expectation of this. It FEELS good to see the "glow" again that I first came to like from years ago and HOPE the rest of present residents and FUTURE to come see the same. When you know better you do better and me being resident can say first hand when you contact the office and speak with them even when there was the previous dark cloud, Lydia, Amonique and other front office staff were listening even if nothing could be done. From my experience to the next reader I can truly see and say.....BETTER DAYS SHOULD BE COMING and I will be here another year...
Read more6 years and I pray EVERY DAY that Bentina along with Amonique are around for a couple of years. Being in this community for this long I can attest of MANY challenges and changes many have seen and may have had. However, I am not one for writing reviews whether good or bad. I just tell my experience so the you make your best choice for you and your next place to call home. Whenever an email had to be sent over to the leasing email office or assistant email or a phone call message was left, if Amonique could not get to your resolution same day whatever the issue was she at least call you or follow up to let you know she would look further into it the next day. Mind you this follow up even took place after the office closed at 6pm and she is still in the office at 6:24pm. Even if it was not handled next day follow up still is placed letting you know from maintenance or herself I have not been forgotten, waiting on replacement to microwave or part replacement to lonnnnggg ongoing garage issue.
Bentina joins Falls Creek as our community director!!!!!!!!! We are a mature private type community of about 175-190 apartments and a cluster of 2-story townhomes nestled around beautiful residential homes and natural aged landscaping of trees that separate us from other subdivisions close by. This community is one of FEW that have plenty of garages to rent which is what drew me to this place and by far hands down remain quiet and clean to where I never have to complain about picking up grounds when I walk outside my door to the garage(I would trust me!). I have noticed for at least 2-3 months now when I take my trash to the main compactor on site its ALWAYS clean and picked up. EVEN ON WEEKENDS, whereas, that is a LONGSTANDING challenge IN ALL COMMUNITIES so do not think it is not happening when it is and you are misinformed until you are already moved in. The office morale has been the BRIGHTEST I have ever seen it since I have lived here to where you want to stop in just to say hello and I have NEVER had each person greet you with a hello for my length of time here. IF you want honest, transparent, friendly, diverse, by the book fair housing white glove service as it was as I remembered as far back as 2004.....BENTINA, AMONIQUE & (Marlon-maintenance) welcomes you to your new home at Falls Creek! Read moreHorrible!!! -When I noticed a dark spot on the wall they tried to tell me it was a stain on the wall. I expressed concerns about there being mold in the wall because it seemed wet and my son had been sick consistently and it was never addressed. Six months later the unit upstairs AC stopped working and there was a leak, while I was at work they cut huge holes in my ceiling and walls trying to find the leak and come to find out there was water leaking in the wall exactly where I had showed them previously coming from their AC unit. -One of the new maintenance men lost the key to my apartment somewhere on the grounds. -Termites eating the window cill in my dining room. Communication is horrible with management. -There is a kids 1 foot pool that has been sitting with nasty brown water in the bottom all summer so wear bug spray cuz the mosquitos are bad over there. -I am, for the third time trying to drop off my keys now that my lease is finally up and yet again the office is closed during office hours. Sign on the door says they will be back at 2:00, it's now 2:15
Only good things are eddy the maintenance guy is very nice and prompt and aside from the kids nasty pool, the grounds are nice

" I understand your frustration with the dark spot on the wall unfortunately we can't change how previous management responded" yes this began with previous management but continued to be an issue with current management. When I asked the current Management to confirm if there was or was not mold, "they forgot" to get back to me. Also there were work orders in that still were not addressed when I moved out.
" On the weekends we operate with reduced staff." The 1st was a Friday. "This does make it difficult to remain in the office when we have community tours." On the second attempt on Saturday the office staff arrived 20 minutes late from her lunch break and I know that because that's what she told me that after I had been sitting in the parking lot with my toddler waiting.
accountability goes a long way in customer service, rather then a response for the people reading to see how about some accountability rather then...
