UPDATE: I contacted Pure per their reply, but they have not responded. So much for "customer service".
I've been having laser treatments since '06. I've been going to Pure since around 2012. I've had at least two Fraxels from Tara who now does their Botox. I also had one from a Nikki who was even more incredible in her technique, but she is no longer there. :-( I will never return again. In September of 2018, I had a Fraxel that went up $200 in price. They told me it was because I didn't receive the "dual Fraxel" on prior visits, which I knew was untrue because I confirmed with the receptionist the treatment that I had received prior- "dual Fraxel’ at the highest setting”. Then they changed their story saying that my less expensive price was because I had a contract prior. This too is untrue because I never had a contract, never signed anything to that effect, and they always made me pre-pay. This latest session was only 15 minutes compared to the 30-45 minutes that I had always received prior, (the person giving me the treatment said it was so quick because she was "good" when I asked why my session was so short). She went across my face very slowly rather than with the multiple passes that I had received in previous treatments. She aggressively treated my lower face where my my Melasma was located, but she did not do that to the entire face. I told the manager when I came out from the session that I was not happy. I told them that all I wanted was my upper face done as well as my lower, just like it had been done on prior visits. They said "you got what you paid for" and "sessions aren't measured in time", (well duh, but you can't do in 15 minutes what you can do in 30). The next day I returned for Cool Sculpting. I asked the lady performing the procedure if there was a Cool Sculpting school and she said there was something like that and one day she wanted to go. Great! So now someone performing my procedure hasn't had the recommended training. I complained again about my session the day before. They told me to wait a week to put me off. A week later they told me to make an appointment to be examined in a few weeks. I made it and then canceled it because I realized what they were doing. Then it was three more weeks of back and forth emails with them in an effort to obtain a modicum of customer service. They finally offered me a session with a "baby Fraxel", to which I declined, stating that I didn't pay for nor wanted a baby Fraxel. #badtasteinmouth at...
Read moreThis place is constantly revolving to the next best thing. It has to make you think twice about their recommendations. I have personally be recommended about 5 different things by 5 different people for the same condition. It is frustrating and that each time i see a new person, they say something different. I have to ask, what do they stand for? Do they all have the same goals? The esthetician i really liked and always had the same answers left. She also did some extractions for me yet the ones I use now say they can't. The last time I had an appointment for a Vitamin C peel, the eshtetician (Winnie) said they ran out of it. ????? I'm sorry what? It took her 15 minutes to figure this out. My peel and mini facial took about 20 mins yet they had me booked for a full hour or maybe an hour and a half. I think mini facial means washing your face and adding moisturizer. That's a joke. They need to step up their game a little. One positive thing is that Abby saved me from making a bad decision! For that - she gets positive votes! And she called me last time to confirm my appointment personally. Now we are talking, Abby! I will only book my facials/peels with you ---even if i have to wait 3 weeks,...
Read moreThis was my first experience getting injections and I was so nervous. Prior to my appointment, I had a ton of questions and I honestly thought I was worrying the mess out of Becky with my gazillion questions. Let me just say, Becky answered every single question I had, made me feel at ease and honestly, made me feel at home. When I came to my first appointment, I noticed how quaint and cozy the waiting room was. The receptionist took my temperature, there was hand sanitizer available and I felt very comfortable. When I went back, Carla explained everything in detail and made me feel more at ease. I was so scared I’d regret doing lip injections, but the opposite happened - I’m now back for my 2nd appointment to get a little more. I hardly had any bruising, which I know everyone is different, but I absolutely loved the results! I highly recommend this practice and the staff were extremely personable, understanding and I know I’ll be coming back to Pure Cosmetics from now on. Their pricing wasn’t so much that it broke the bank and there is financing as well. I can honestly say I feel more confident now and I’m so happy with...
