Trig Modern — Local services in Raleigh

Trig Modern should be a must visit for anyone in the Raleigh/Greater NC area! Bob has a beautiful showroom with many high quality and unique pieces. I wish we would have stepped into his store from the very beginning as it would have made our furniture shopping a much better experience.

We started our search just like most other people in the area. Driving up and down Glenwood, stopping in multiple shops only to be hounded by the next sales person who is begging for a sale. We didn’t find that at Trig Modern. In fact, we found Bob to be super laid back, friendly, and helpful in our search. He introduced himself and let us wonder (which I greatly appreciated) and then when we had questions, he was available.

The best part of the shopping experience was his willingness to help us find the perfect fabric. He sent us home with a swatch which we agreed would be a top contender. We got home only to find that it was not what we hoped for. The next morning, I called Bob to tell him the news and he started looking (again) for the perfect color and fabric. I drove up to the store very shortly after and he had some other fabrics picked out and set aside at the front. Who does this?

Great experience here all around. Quality merchandise, unique but comfortable pieces, well-curated showroom, and really above-and-beyond customer service. We bought a very cool Italian battery-operated lamp, and ordered a sleeper sofa. Ryan and his team really know the details on each item, and explain everything without being intrusive or giving you the hard sell. We came across this store by accident (looking for the olive oil store that used to be in North Hills and closed suddenly, but that’s another story). We for sure will be back - I already have a couple of other things on my wishlist. I believe this is the kind of furniture store where you find something new to lust after each time you visit. And I think they can order things for you too if you don’t see it on the floor. I don’t think you’ll regret checking this...

Some of the most unique and awesome furniture pieces, light fixtures, and items in the area for your home! I accidentally stumbled upon it one day with a certain neon lamp and fell in love. Bob the owner is super nice man, won’t follow you around the store trying to make a sale. He has a much better approach in which he’ll greet you when you come in, and only come to you if you have questions.

His service is exceptional as well. After I bought said lamp, there was something wrong with the base of the lamp. I Took it back told him and told him what was going on and he took me back to what I call “the workshop” inside of the shopping center and got me a new base no questions asked!
