Sacramento Inn & Suites — Hotel in Rancho Cordova

Don't stay here long term. The day staff treats long term residents like crap. Refusing to supply toilet paper,clean linens, clean towels, ice cubes and they turn away visitors without letting you know. They stop store and food deliveries from being delivered to the room so you have to go retrieve from the office. Months without hot water. Day staff is rude to long term residents. when they know you're gone they let themselves into your room and snoop around. Day staff are liars. Evening, night and weekend staff are absolutely wonderful though. , , They have a no visitors policy that didn't apply to long term residents but apparently now it does. This is not a hotel. This is a crappy facility ran bythe unprofessional. Ignoring maintenance requests for as long as possible and won't do anything within reasonable timing. In order to get help you'll have to remind them 10 times. I would nevger recommend this place to anyone.I . You're better off at a shelter or just sleeping in your car. The lobby is in nice shape and gave us hope that our room would be nice. Clearly the lobby is the only part of the building that has been remodeled.

Our room was very dirty. The fridge had wet towels in it and dead bugs all over. We asked for a different room and were switched to another one that was in similar condition. The desk in the room, which was an island style countertop, was detached from the wall and propped up in the corner. Everything in the room was dirty and not in any type of condition that would make it usable. We were switched to a 3rd room that was their suite. This room was on the very low end of acceptable so we decided to stay for the night.

The neighborhood is very rough. We didn't feel safe spending time outside or leaving anything in our vehicle. The parking lot had several chickens roaming around including multiple roosters. The roosters started crowing very early in the morning waking us all up. I guess this worked out fine as we were ready to leave as soon as possible.

The pictures online don't come anywhere close to showing what the rooms are actually like. We definitely wouldn't...

The ONLY reason I am even giving 2 stars for service is because of how cool the guy with the dreads that works in the office is. The maids are disrespectful and super rude. The other guy in the office has a rude attitude also. The location was convenient. But the quality of the rooms were so poor it makes me sick. Absolutely disgusting!!! The shower curtain had unknown substances smeared all over it, the bathtub... OMG EWWWW. There were stains on the bed, smears all over the walls, holes punched in every door and then horribly attempted patch jobs, the TV gets like 4 channels, their curtains are from like 1942. The elevator is STILL broken, the bed is so uncomfortable and cheap. There are prostitutes everywhere, the place charges WAYYYYYY too much for a one night stay. Soooo NOT worth the price.
