I agree with most of the comments- itās very clean here. Bathrooms very clean. They have hand sanitizer and paper towels out for you. Place seems well kept and safe. Only one gate in and out , so anywhere they go within the gated area is safe. Suggestions: more comfy seating For the adults. Thereās lots of seating, tables to eat, and inside the playground thereās high top tables, and rows of chairs. I just wish they were alittle softer since we are sitting for hours at a time. 2) water fountains. Would be nice for the kids to have the option use a fountain since you canāt bring in outside food or drinks, then youāre not required to buy a water bottle. Water is such a basic need, I worry about families that can maybe only buy the ticket or get a gift card here , but then also have to provide water by buying it ) since you canāt prepare it from your tap at home and bring it
The staff was really nice and positive. The chips were fairly cheap,$2 each. Prices were reasonable. I compared their prices to other indoor playgrounds of the same style in the area, and they were all around the same price. $18 on the weekend and about $10-$13 on weekdays. I DO think you get a bigger playground here for that price compared to the photos of the others I saw online . This facility does a good job of making seperate spaces for different age groups. Thereās a ā babyā section which has blocks and extremely simple stuff, itās fenced into its own area. Then thereās the ā middleā zone for about 3-5 year olds. Itās smaller slides and not as much climbing But the main playground, is totally accessible for most 2year olds and up. However, itās nice to have the option for kids to go to something smaller especially if they have less motor skills or a younger sibling ā¦. Thereās a small trampoline in the middle. Thereās a lot to climb and go through. The best thing is adults can do it too. Getting to the very very top was kind of hard for me, but do- able. Everyone was acting safe . The equipment looked safe. Itās nice that you pay once price and can leave and come back. You donāt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTJ Amao, the director, called me about my review. He was a very nice gentleman and explained the hiccups in policy, which made my somewhat negative experience more understandable. Their mask policy was changed from 5 and under to 12 and under. He also explained that due to MD lifting the mask mandate, it's making it harder to enforce for adults, but he has spoken to the staff. I appreciate the due diligence. This may not matter to some, but it's a big deal for me! Excellent customer service!
My 2 year old had fun and the price is reasonable. I came here because of the good reviews around covid precautions. My experience was totally different. When you first walk in, there's covid guideline signs, hand sanitizer, and your temp is taken. Once you get past the front section, I guess their policies go out the window. They allow kids 5 and under to not wear masks. Kids 5 and under were the only ones I really saw wearing them correctly, with a handful of adults. There were so many older kids and adults with their masks under their noses or chins. One guy didn't have one on at all! I pointed this out to staff and I left the convo feeling assured their policy would be enforced. But then I watched staff look right at people and say nothing. On top of that, some of these same older kids and adults would be laid out in the 2-7 section when there's a whole row of seats available. I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is a fun and clean inside activity for kids. My kids loved their visit and didn't want to leave. That said; however, the reason for the 2 stars is I was incredibly disappointed and upset by the lack of on-site medical first aid items and lack of staff training on safety protocols! A very young child (not mine) fell backwards off a chair and hit the back of their head on the hardwood floor. No staff saw, or seemed to care, except the child's parent. When I went to the desk to ask for an ice pack, I was first told they didn't have one and after pestering was then handed one that was EXPIRED and not remotely capable of being cold! I even said I could run to my personal vehicle to get one from my own EMT bag, to which was I was nonchalantly told "ok, that's fine" by the staff who seemed very uninterested in being helpful, knowing my doing that would prevent me from watching my own kids. Yes, parents sign a safety waiver....but that implies the location actually has sufficient first aid supplies on hand and that their staff is trained in basic first aid...which this place does NOT HAVE! Totally irresponsible! If you bring your kids here, bring your own first aid kid and training just in case because you cannot rely on staff or on-site supplies in case...
