Phillips Pizza — Restaurant in Maryland

I have been going to this place since I was a teenager. Over the last year when me and my family have gotten food from them, there was absolutely NO seasoning on the food, not even the fries!!! Today I went there to get some food for me and my cousin cause she was sick, and I thought this would be a nice treat for her. When I brought the food back to her house, yet again no seasoning on the food! So we called them back to ask for a refund. The manager says to bring the food back and we'll talk about it. I did not like that answer and said no. I want my money back. He then says "that's not how this works over here, I need to see how many bites you took off the sandwich." I was furious by this, and felt completely disrespected! Mind you the entire conversation he kept talking over me even before things got heated. Repeatedly I had to keep asking him to stop talking over me. It ended up getting so heated-his rudeness and unwillingness to accommodate a customer who has patronized his business for years. I hung up the phone and came there instead. When I got there the manager was in the back so the cooks spoke to me. I had keep asking them to stop talking over me too. And while they were willing to refund me, all 3 of these men just handled me! Very demeaning and unfair. Not letting me really talk, just trying to do anything they could to shut me up and get me out of their face. Then they lied for their boss-the manager-saying "I was standing right there when he said he would refund you for the food." Which was not true. And when I tried to explain he just talked over me. They then explained that the reason they dont put seasoning on the food is because some people can't handle it. They only put seasoning on if its requested. I then asked the young man "if you paid for a service and it did not meet your standards. And you asked for a refund. Would you accept someone saying let's talk about it?" To which he answered no. Yet he still proceeded to handle me and talk over me. Ultimately I got so frustrated and felt so disrespected I blew up shouting at them and then left. If I were a man I feel they would not have treated me this way. But because I'm a woman I was handled. I do not recommend that anyone patronize this business. They are not professional and their refund policy is also...

I always ordered from Phillps sometimes here and there some little mistakes but I let it go this experience made me promise that I will never order from here again I order and special an 2 8" sub with 15 wings and 2Liter soda When I order I CLEARLY Said jalapeños not black olives when my order came everything else was right except they gave me black olives and I am allergic to black olives I called back told them the problem and lady I reached was kind and said my order correctly but they gave me the wrong order I get a call back from the man I talked to the first time saying "Mame you said black olives not jalapeños why would I say I want something on my order that I'm allergic to and if I said black olives why doesn't the receipt say that as I wait for my order when it finally came there were minor mistakes but I said whatever I chewed into I told my brother this tastes weird we opened it up about the middle of the sandwich and found an rotten Jalapeño I was disgusted I took an picture and everything knowing they wouldn't believe they should know this is my last time order from there I wish I can give...

This is the best pizza in northern Baltimore.

They gave me an extra-large for the price it's supposed to be (about $20.00). The pizza was well-cooked and the ingredients played well against each other. I ordered the Phillips Unique.

The crust was delicious, both in terms of taste and the rigid crunchy texture, and I appreciated the cheese on top of the ingredients. Gives it that warm chicken-pot-pie dynamic.

As for considerations other than food and price, I think it's take-out or delivery only, but what an experience you'll have if you carry it out. It's in a sensibly-designed strip mall where the parking is right in front of the stores and there are multiple exits and entrances from the surrounding streets.
