4-18-2025: Insane couple years. Gestapo stuff. Been ridiculous. Wanted to update: actually real verifiable scientific advancements in various fields. Mutated a potentially new species of cannabis. Discovered epigenetic responses to far, high nm red frequency lights. 99% Real recycling rate. Carbon negative and now have renewable no dig sustainable berry farm within my permaculture. This school was an incredible boon, and now has verifiably been critical in real scientific developments. Returned to review today because I was thinking of my old english professors. Thank you.
5-8-23: Officially updating to 5 Stars. I am basically 100 times the man I was when i went there. The Professors and staff kicked off a love and passion for learning, and the environment. The massive hardships I endured here and after college only reinforced a weak and fractured psyche, and in the years after the dust has settled slightly, I now basically find myself sitting in an intellectual position that is vastly superior to most people even degree holders. I had the advantage of going here after having my company, and being in the work force, and was able to memorize absolutely everything of real-world value.
~4-5 years of classes at CCM, and I am now retired at 35, with a house, a modest life and a classic car I like. I used CCM To fortify a wide breadth of understand of all the basics, and attended E-Classes at more Universities than I even remember (Uni of Mich, Stanford, MIT, Yale, Harvard, CalTech, Etc.). I now work voluntarily and will be starting my non-profit to end homelessness through Carbon-Negative permaculture . **removed older review parts due to irrelevance. Just some tidbits about my tiff with a math professor. Removed personal names etc. due to privacy. Sorry for having those on here earlier. Will also return again to edit final review. Still incredibly busy.
TL;DR: Great school. worth the money....
Read moreCounty College of Morris has engaged in unethical and harmful practices. In 2018 I enrolled briefly, paid for my classes, and was forced to withdraw due to personal family financial reasons, within 2 days. I was told by staff that I did not owe anything further. Despite this, months later they falsely claimed I owed around $1,416. I disputed this in writing with their Bursar’s Office in 2019, and the debt was later removed from my credit report after a formal dispute.
Fast forward to 2025 — more than six years later — CCM resubmitted this old, disputed, and legally time-barred “debt” to the State of New Jersey’s Set-Off Program. As a result, $1,401.84 was wrongfully seized from my 2024 state tax refund. This action was not only unfair, but a clear abuse of state programs meant for legitimate collections. It is outrageous that a public college would weaponize state tax systems against former students for balances they know are invalid.
I have now filed formal complaints with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, NJ Division of Consumer Affairs, the NJ Office of the State Comptroller, and the Better Business Bureau. Their conduct shows a disturbing lack of integrity, accountability, and fairness.
Students and families should be aware: if this happened to me years after leaving, it can happen to others. CCM’s practices are predatory, dishonest, and...
Read moreIf I could give CCM 0 stars, I would. Right from the start I shouldn't have even applied with the $30 application (I had previously been accepted into the school, so I already payed this fee and was just taking a summer course). Next, when my 5 week online class finally started, the book store wouldn't send me my books after I had already paid for them (I work out of state), wouldn't release them to my sister to send them to me, and wouldn't let my sister buy the books since she wasn't a CCM Student!! I then had to file a claim with my bank in order to finally get a refund from them as the college only does any form of communication through email. Out of the ten times I have called them, I have gotten someone on the phone ONCE and they were extremely rude to me. Their BlackBoard system was so out of date, it only worked on Firefox, and when my course ended five weeks later, they wanted to charge ME a $5.00 fee to get my own transcripts! I have never had to deal with a school that is so inflexible, uncaring about it's students, and only cares about your money. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL TO ANYONE! I don't understand how myself and others can have such awful experiences while others rate this...
