First off my meal was awesome!!!! But the service and mannerism of the young lady at the counter was unacceptable. Not trying to knick pick, but you are serving people so do it. At first I thought she was rushing to take the order, but I overlooked it. What caught my attention is when she placed our bags on the counter walked away with several people around the counter and said here you go not knowing she was talking to us my friend asked her you mean us, while she shook her head signal us yes. Mind you there was two bags on the counter only one belonging to us, so we had to ask which one. We then proceeded to ask for sugar as we ordered tea. Two packets to be exact. She then got the container with the sugar packet and placed it on the counter and walked away. At this point I felt profiled, I don't know the reason why we was treated this way. Not jumping on because I'm black train. I'm here from out of town working to feed the electricians who are servicing the area from the outages. I believe it's ok to speak your native language, but I think it's disrespectful to have a full conversation while servicing others knowing or not that they understand what you are saying. Instead of saying anything decided share my experience. Its the...
Read more2 stars because once they get it right its not bad. However I have been to this place a number of times. Today will finally be the last time. I have never had a hot breakfast sandwich. I attribute this to them cooking a large number of eggs and storing them off to the side of the griddle on the warm side and keeping them there for a while. You would think by doing this you would get your order quickly, but no. The place could be empty inside with no other orders, and you will wait 5-10 minutes for a sandwich that comes out with a Luke warm egg, deep fried charred bacon and about 4-5 slices of cheese (some may like eggs with their cheese sandwiches). Advice If you make your sandwiches to order like EVERYWHERE else you will serve a quality hot product. tell your cooks to stop being lazy, you're not that busy that you need to cook 20 eggs and store them for an hour, they come out cold, hard and rubbery. Nobody likes cold unmeted cheese on their sandwiches. The kicker to all this. after complaining and having them re make the order i made a comment that its constantly cold, and the women said "i...
Read moreTaylor Ham, Egg and Cheese on an Egg Bagel with Pepper and Ketchup. The egg bagel was huge, Taylor ham was thick and it wasn’t too salty. Great sangwich.
I also got the same as above but with bacon. Again, huge bagel, not over salty and finally, someone who knows how to cook bacon! Crisp, browned and piled on. Again, great.
Large Roast Beef and Swiss Sub Sangwich, L,T, Mayo, O&V, S&P. It’s actually 1.5 12” subs. No complaints. Fresh sub roll, nice portion of meat and cheese, all toppings were fresh but the tomato wasn’t ripe. Still, very good.
Chicken Cutlet, Swiss, L, T, Mayo, S&P. Came on a Kaiser roll. Toppings are very fresh and tasty. Good seasoning. Generous portion of Chix Cutlet but the meat was a little tough. Still a very enjoyable sando.
4 stars overall. I will order from here often. Just a great Jersey deli and close to where I work!...
