(Read my update below this paragraph) They are always focused on the customer throughout the process from start to finish. The only "bad" issue I had was when their internet went down and we couldn't process the credit cards or update the mechanics database for what had been done on the vehicle. This caused extra delays, but understandable delays. They were apologetic and helped everyone out as best as they could. I have been going here for the past 4 years and would recommend them from your basic oil change to any other car/truck needs that you have.
3/10/2016 Update Bought a Ford C-Max from the sales team - worked with Noel and then John. Unlike the service department, my sales experience was abysmal. Noel went against his word 3 times during in person conversations and phone conversations. I was told I would get $3,500 for my trade in fixed up - they came to me with $3,200. I was told that the C-Max was going to be $18,600 - it was $19,999 when I sat down. (I had told Noel to call me before they bought it from an auction on my behalf with the price that it would be, so I can tell them to buy it on my behalf based off of the price that he would tell me. He told me $18,600 of which it was a fair price for that vehicle with shipping.) I asked Noel to plug the vehicle in before I came in so I could verify that the battery takes a charge. He said that he would plug it in, get it cleaned up, and get all the paperwork ready. It was not plugged in during the day, it was not cleaned, the paperwork was not ready. This resulted in me waiting for 35 minutes before I could see the car and another 15-20 minutes before Noel brought over the paperwork showing what they were going to give me for my trade-in and what they wanted for the C-Max. Noel and the sales department are not trustworthy and did not value me as a customer during my time there. They do not stand by their word. I will never buy a car from this company again due to me not being able to trust the sales department. I will continue to get my vehicles serviced here because I trust the service department and their employees. The service department has never wronged me or gone against their word.
4/14/2016 Update Car has been fantastic. I definitely recommend the C-Max. While cleaning the vehicle I came across an item that they either removed or missed during their safety inspection. The "temporary mobility kit." Because there is no spare Ford included a tire kit, an air pump and sealant to fix most punctures. They had told me another reason the cost was higher than they told me was because they conduct a safety check. I would have assumed that a lack of a spare tire would have caused them to look for the Ford item that is in replacement of the spare tire - the temporary mobility kit. They did not look, or they did look and didn't notify me that the safety feature that Ford included was not in the vehicle that I was purchasing from them. If they are including the cost of a safety check with the purchase of a vehicle they should make sure that all safety related items are included with the vehicle or make the purchaser aware of items missing. This was...
Read moreAs a little background, I purchased a 2017 mustang GT from EVS random lake in may of 2017, I bought new to reduce car repair related expense for myself as well as to enjoy the benefits of a warranty because my job demands solid attendance and I don't have time for a vehicle to be down for the count long enough for me to be able to fix it myself.
since the purchase I have had 0 issues with the car, and have always brought it to the quicklane in the attached parking lot for service and record keeping of such service. as well as coming back to the dealership for any issues, questions, or concerns I may have had with the car.
today I brought the mustang in to have it looked at in reference to some possible warranty repair from the trunk lid rubbing the tail lights and rear bumper. upon inspection, I was told that it's not making contact (completely ignoring paint rubbed off all along the rear bumper, cracked off the trunklid corners from contact with the tail lights, and rubbed off the center of the trunklid from the trunk liner.)
after asking how paint rubs itself off the bumper I was met with "someone must have sat on the trunk" or "you must have slammed something in there"
after informing them i'm the sole driver (wife cant drive manual) and no kids to possibly mess things up, and that i'm either driving it or it's parked in the private garage of my home, so those events would have been known to myself, they kept with the previous excuses.
after such a great buying experience initially, with plans to replace the wifes vehicle with a new purchase from their dealership as well, todays events with the service department have left my confidence in EVS near rock bottom for continued ownership support.
EDIT: as of 6/25/19 after bringing the vehicle to a different, competing dealer, a warranty repair requisition was sent in to ford on my behalf. 2 hours later i recieved a call stating ford agreed to replace the tail light, bumper cover, and decklid panel at no cost, as well as provide me with a loaner vehicle during the process.
EDIT 2: after numerous attempts to contact mike for a resolution to this issue, spanning weeks, only to find out he's "not in the office today" every single time i called, i gave up.
Boucher ford of west bend had this issue fixed, and my mustang returned to me within 3 days, with the paint work corrected, and a brand new taillight assembly installed, while providing me with a brand new luxury loaner vehicle in the meantime. They made the whole process super simple, and for a dealership i originally would have never considered using after terrible experiences with their sales team, they...
Read moreIf Eric Von Schledorn Ford ever comes up as a location for one of your cars on an internet car search, I highly recommend the trip to Random Lake, WI. They truly understand the ânew to youâ experience in used cars. My wife and I were both looking for used cars in Appleton, WI. While our area does have a lot of cars and car dealerships to choose from, used Chevy Voltâs are actually pretty rare and there werenât many/any in my immediate area. It was by chance that the car I eventually bought was located in Random Lake, WI, 90 minutes away, but it had the features and color (red) I was looking for and at a price point Carguruâs said was a fair deal. So I figured, âWhy not make the trip and put in the effort for something as important in my life as my next new car?â We called ahead to check on stock and Noel Deliz was the sales person we were initially assigned to to answer our questions. After making the trip and meeting him in person, we were so happy, as he was extremely professional and helpful with the process of buying a new, used car. He even charged my Volt for the drive home! J What really impressed us with Eric Von Schledorn was when we were looking for my wifeâs car. She was looking at Chrysler L200âs and truthfully⌠there are a lot of them out there that are all over the map on prices and mileage and options, so naturally weâd look for those in our area. We test drove some at a couple locations, but really, the experience we had wasnât that rewarding. The individuals we interacted with were, âokâ, and the cars we drove were âokâ. Call it karma or call it a feeling, but the very first impressions of those cars was that they werenât really yours at all and you couldnât picture yourself owning them. On the test drive they just felt like you were driving someone elseâs car. The experience at Von Schledorn was completely different. The car was extremely neat, clean, smelled nice and while it was used, it felt exactly like what you would want in a ânew to youâ car. We could really tell the difference in the quality of caring that they took with their cars. Noel was able to answer any of the questions we had regarding this particular car and to follow up with his staff in a timely manner on any other questions we had. Overall, I believe Noel Deliz and Eric Von Schledorn Ford are top of the line in the used car industry. They treat their clients professionally and with respect and try to do right by them whenever they can. Their cars might start off as simple auction cars, but through EVSâs quality, best practices and caring, they become...
