My husband always stops here at Lupitas Mexican Store #7 in Random Lake on his way to work for food. Today was the first time I had their food. It was so delicious, and the meats were seasoned very well. There is so much flavor in their food and meat. I had the 3 tacos with steak and pork, and my husband had the 3 tacos with pork and the enchiladas. Their food was better than going to a Mexican restaurant. This is not a dine in restaurant, this is to go order of fresh and delicious food. I love their little store with the variety of everything. They have a nice small produce section, I found taro root there, which was an awesome find for me. I love their Tia Rosa cookies. My husband always brings me some when he stops for something to drink or eat. I love this place and plan on visiting it more often when I can. Their customer service is great! They are very nice...
Read moreI moved from Milwaukee to Fredonia at the beginning of this year & randomly drove passed this place one day without trying it. After that, I tried so hard looking for it on Google, but I guess at the time it wasn't on Google yet.
I finally decided to try it. I got their steak tacos & it was so good! By far the best restaurant food I've had in this Fredonia area since moving here. Being from Milwaukee, a bigger city with much more dining options, it takes a lot to impress me, & this place was legit from my experience. I see some review say theirs was cold & not fresh, mine was fresh though. They cooked the meat right in front of me while I was there.
I hope they have deals. In Milwaukee, I went to Chicken Palace a lot, because they had a tray of 20 tacos for $35. It's much easier to feed a family buying one of those trays, rather than having to pay for each taco...
Read moreI was so happy another taco place was available locally, but the tacos were cold burrito wraps out of a bag with a little iceberg lettuce, raw onion (not sweet onion) and 3 pieces of lime. $11.49. Really terrible food, and the service was worse. I took some dried beans off the shelf, there was no price on them but dried beans are cheap! There were 2 bags which were 4 pounds each. I put it on ApplePay and afterwards, while still in the store, discovered I had been charged over $30 for 8 pounds dried black and kidney beans, so I returned the bags but was told they could not reverse charges. I could see the charge was still pending and I know it is very easy to give refunds via ApplePay. I have a dispute filed with ApplePay; I left the beans there. All around awful experience. I was so hoping for some nice grilled...
