These people stole my family’s belongings and lied about it. Dropped off trinkets, clothes, books, etc. with the affirmation that they are a consignment store and would consign the items. Filled out paperwork to create an account, helped them label my boxes and everything. Fast forward roughly 18 months, I need to cash out since we’re moving, and suddenly “we don’t consign items.” “Are you sure you’re even in the right store?” When asked what they did with all my items, it was a bunch of mumbling and “I put a sign up.” I don’t care that their business model changed – it’s their right. But I do care when money on accounts is involved and you don’t make a few phone calls. The gaslighting like I had never been to their store before, filled out paperwork, or carried boxes to the back room for them is outrageous. The owner is a thief in my opinion. She claims the store donates profits to a non existent church. She pays the consigner 40% of sale price. I consigned a Murano Glass pendant and matching earrings that disappeared. I think her previous store manager took it. The manager told me they would call me with pricing on 3 pieces before placing it for sale then denied saying that. 2 items returned to me but 3rd missing. Owner promised me in writing to reimburse me value with discount n then sent me a check for $40 with pictures saying that's what mine liked like. She never saw it. DEFINITELY GO HERE FOR THRIFTING!!!!! As a longtime thrifter, I have had such a good experience that im writing an incredibly long review. The store owner is a WONDERFUL gentleman who explained the store has been around for 41 years and has been strictly family owned. He was incredibly helpful and friendly and cool as well. The prices and selection at this store are, I would say, impossible to beat. The clothing variety was extraordinary and SO CHEAP! records and other antique items were interesting and exciting.
