Fitness 19 — Local services in Redlands

Really disappointed I’m making this review for a company my family and friends have supported for years, but attention needs to be brought on this business. On July 10th I went Into the gym wanting to add the kids club onto my existing membership. The untrained staff member Sarah assisting me was incredibly rude when trying to sign up my kids club membership. She grew frustrated in the midst of attempting to explain how my 14.99 sign up rate skyrocketed to $82.00 and still had no clue what even she was attempting to explain. After the 45 minutes of her typing the same information in 3 times over I declined and ended up just paying for the day of kids club due to my frustration of such poor customer service. A few days later I was Charged $82, $29.99, and $19.99 within a 2 day time span. Sarah has actually signed me up for an entire NEW gym membership, added a kids club and I was Charged sign up fees as well as monthly fees. I have Had to go in numerous times in order to have this issue corrected, and management as well as staff Have told me conflicting information each and every time that I have Followed up on this issue. The manager, David lied stating that the 19.99 annual kids club fee was correct. David went on vacation for 2 weeks and my refund never got issued until I sought To contact the district manager. Shortly after contacting the district manager I received my $82 and $29.99, but never received the 19.99. When following up with Isaac he reassured me that it was processing, yet days went by and I never Received my money. I had To go in AGAIN and speak directly to garret, and he stated he would follow up with my refund, in which later I received a phone call from Isaac stating my refund is processing and I’d receive it in 7 days (in other words it was never processed, but of course that terminology wasn’t used). When I told Isaac Of the rude customer service Sarah gave me he notified me “that she was new” which is no excuse for horrible customer service. This location has been incredibly dishonest with me through out this entire experience. It is currently the 25th and I have Yet to receive the 19.99. My issue wasn’t only the mistakes made, but also the poor customer service and dishonesty along the way. When I went In to speak with a manager yesterday Sarah was at the front desk and ignored me as I stood There waiting. Mistakes happen, being rude is NOT okay. I have Always appreciated the welcoming faces of this company both Yucaipa and Redlands Fitness 19, but this has absolutely left such a bad taste in my mouth. Occasionally Sarah works the kids club when it is busy and quite frankly I am Not comfortable bringing my 10 month old daughter in, this is problematic. I now Pay for a kids club membership that I am Uncomfortable leaving my daughter in. While Garrett tried to mend this situation by entirely waving my kids club annual fee this year is incredibly appreciated, the continual poor customer service i have received due to a mistake THEY made, is not okay and needs to be fixed. This main issue wasn’t the $133 dollars wrongly withdrawn from my account but the WORST customer service I have...

i'm not gonna be mean, rude, or impolite. but i prefer the rancho cucamonga location, and here's why: it has showers, tanning, red light therapy, and dyson wash+dry hand dryers,☺️ i prefer all of the cardio equipment (probably excluding some of the treadmills, although i don't know) at the rancho cucamonga location, and here's why: to me, all of the cardio equipment (probably excluding some of the treadmills, although i don't know) that's at the rancho cucamonga location looks modern,☺️ i only prefer the bumper plates at the rancho cucamonga location because they say "hammer strength",☺️ and the fontana location closed down and moved to rancho cucamonga so that citizens of fontana (who used to workout at the fontana location) would be able to workout a bigger gym with more amenities. i love the fact that this happened!☺️☺️

i'm not gonna be mean, rude, or impolite. but i prefer the perris location, and here's why: the perris location also has showers, tanning, red light therapy, and dyson airblade wash+dry hand dryers,☺️ at the perris location, the fixed barbells look exactly the same as all of the other types of weights on the sides (except the bumper plates that are used to increase the weight for squatting and deadlifting),😊 and i prefer all of the cardio equipment at the perris location, and here's why: to me, it looks modern!☺️

i'm not gonna be mean, rude, or impolite. but i prefer the claremont location, and here's why: it has showers, tanning, red light therapy, and dyson airblade wash+dry hand dryers,☺️ at the claremont location, the fixed barbells look exactly the same as all of the other types of weights on the sides (including the bumper plates that are used to increase the weight for squatting and deadlifting, except for the fact that the bumper plates are a different color than the dumbbells and fixed barbells are on the sides and the plates that people use to increase weight for leg pressing, etc are),☺️☺️ i only prefer the bumper plates at the claremont location because they also say "hammer strength",☺️☺️ and i prefer all of the cardio equipment that's at the claremont location, and here's why: to me, it also looks modern,☺️ plus 2 of the employees (1 is in a picture of the claremont location online, and 1 was in-person) looked like they were nice and friendly (or at least like they were people with acceptable character)!

and finally, this is what i like about this location: my dad calls this location "his gym", it has every piece of equipment i need and want plus indoor cycling, and leah, alissa, and brian/bryan, a former employee (however he spells his name),...

A great gym,sparkling clean,friendly staff,great prices excellent trainers! Fitness 19 in the Redlands/Mentone area is a modern,well managed and maintained health club.The regional manager,Garret,got us happily involved with Fitness 19 and he's been very helpful over the years ever since! They feature the latest health club equipment for cardio,body building,figure management and athletic performance improvement. The prices at Fitness 19 are the lowest available for a national health club company. It's also important for me to have access to their clubs around the USA as I travel on business quite a bit and find that their clubs are consistant throughout the USA in terms of cleanliness,staffing and equipment. They have a large,modern open space design,clean equipment and bathrooms and a team of workers,trainers and managers that are courteous and helpful in any way possible.
