ATL Wing Spot — Restaurant in Redlands

This review is solely for the service, as I have not received my order yet. It seems they were overwhelmed by the volume of orders. At this time I had been waiting for 25 mins for my order. I overheard a customer state that they had been waiting for over an hour for their order; this was 15 mins after they received a shake that was ‘forgotten about’. The waiting area floor near the pickup window was littered with paper products and pieces of discarded chicken. And hearing the workers in the back they seemed to be way over their heads.

One saving grace is on of the workers who have the customer their hour long order offered apologies for the unexpected wait and free fried Oreos, so there is some evident care for customer service.

After approximately 30 mins I overheard that my order was finally being fired.

I live in the neighborhood, so am hoping for this place to do well. Perhaps some time to settle into their routine will lead to much improved service.

UPDATE: When I received my food they were out of bags and I had to ask to replace my bottled beverage that was sitting on the counter for some time with one fresh out of the fridge. The wings and waffle fries were average at best, both being a little overcooked. The biggest issue with the food itself was that I chose two sauces, Honey BBQ and Lemon-Pepper. They either only gave me one sauce, which would very disappointing, or they combined the two sauces which would be very confusing.

Upon leaving the store I was pretty set on visiting again and giving them another chance. But after eating I am a bit unsure if I will do this considering there are numerous options for wings nearby, including Wing Stop right across the street.

Overall a pretty disappointing experience...

They just recently opened and this place has been awesome every time we’ve gone! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. They have a lot of options and a variety of delicious goodies ranging from their chicken tenders, wings, and sandwiches to waffles, fried Oreos, and shakes! Their food is halal which is awesome for people that may feel more restricted with places to eat out. The owners bring an awesome friendly vibe to the establishment and are super attentive! They even gave us some free fried Oreos once as a thank you for coming in which is more than kind! Wait times on the freshly made food is not bad at all and always hot and fresh. ATL Wing Spot is IT! My first experience here I immediately was drawn to the vibrant colors, menu, and music! There was a delay on my order due to a minor mistake but management brought it to my attention right away and handled the situation very professionally. The wait didn't bother me because I was vibing so much with the staff and great atmosphere of the restaurant. My husband and I have been back at least every other day since then for either a late night snack or some wings to watch the game!
