This is a short bike path rolling through two neighborhoods of North Redondo under buzzing and crackling high voltage electricity transmission lines. Its a very smooth concrete surface that makes frequent asphalt street crossings. It starts at a small park and ends across the street from a dirt field that looks like it should be the rest of the path.
I enjoy this path at night when there are less cars on the road at the crossings and ride it in laps on my longboard.

Read moreCity workers do good work of maintaining concrete pathway but the once green grass on both sides of pathway has died off in a lot of areas due to little or no watering because of broken sprinkler systems and now it's turned into an eyesore and an embarrassment to Redondo Beach residents who either use the pathway or live next to it. Areas that have now turned to bare dirt need to be reseeded and start up a watering schedule after the sprinklers are repaired and adjusted properly.
