Oh my goodness - just beginning to write this review I am GUSHING because I love J Flower Shop and Jane and her mother, Jane so so much. Our wonderful wedding planner Alexandra Dennis of Grounded Events helped us to find the most talented, kind, passionate, and dedicated mother daughter florist team to make the floral arrangements and chuppah for our mountain wedding. To say that we are grateful for their work is simply not enough. They took the vision me, my mom, and husband had for our wedding and made it something beyond our wildest wilderness, whimsical faery dreams!! They approached the whole planning process with immense care, knowledge, professionalism, CREATIVITY, talent, and patience. They turned our wedding into a dream to an actual manifestation of whimsical soft pinks, reds, faeries, moss, vines, twinkling lights, led (mountain safe) candles, lavenders, greens, and pure magic. All of our guests could not stop acknowledging the long table and small table arrangements commenting that not only were they so perfect to compliment me and my husband and our aesthetic but also that they had never seen such beautiful, creative, and MAGICAL flower arrangements. Jane and Jane are the most wonderful and talented mother daughter pair and I would hire them a million more times if I could!!! SO SO thankful for the dedication and work they put in for our wedding - we will cherish our memories and photos of these beautiful arrangements and our dream chuppah forever and always and know they will be cherished by our future little ones. Lastly, I just want to acknowledge the incredible chuppah they created for us - they were so inventive and incorporated heirlooms from loved ones in our chuppah and made it the most dreamy, special, moving, and thoughtful piece of ritual/art we had ever seen. In the last 7 months we have use J Flowers for our 2 weddings and welcome party and we can not recommend them enough!!! All three events for completely different from each other with a totally different style and they executed it amazing.

July Church wedding - minimalist and leaning into fun summer colors.

Welcome party - Italian themed pizza night! Outside and wanting to bring Tuscany vibes to a beautiful courtyard in San Diego.

NYE Black Tie wedding - Wanted the ceremony to be very classy and simple and then start to bring in elements of NYE (think disco balls) as the night went on.

I explained the above vision to Jane at J flowers and went to visit the shop on 2 occasions where she listened to my thoughts and helped me narrow down what would look good and not. For example lets avoid green for the wedding ceremony and go more white, etc. I am not a creative person and she was able to take what I was thinking and then put a vision board together that got me so excited.

Jane also was able to incorporate some special/meaningful touches for us. For example we had a photo of my husbands parents who passed on a bouquet of his moms favorite flowers on the front pew and we had my grandmothers rosemary as my something blue wrapped around my bouquet. I dropped these items off prior to the events at J flowers and they were able to attach them and make them beautiful and secure!

I was never stressed or worried as I knew J flowers understood the vision and was going to deliver seamlessly. I am so happy with how everything tuned out and I think the pictures speak...

A review from a VERY happy bride!... I booked J Flowers for my wedding in April. I have always loved flowers and knew that I wanted a beautiful and romantic look for our wedding florals. I was nervous going into booking a vendor for flowers because I was on a very tight budget - it costs an arm and a leg to get married these days. I reached out to Jane after our reception venue sent us their suggested vendors. At the time, I was emailing back and forth with about five other flower shops. I was struggling to find someone that I vibed with and someone who was responsive. As soon as Jane replied to my email, I just knew she would be the person to do our wedding florals. After our first zoom call, my nerves disappeared and I started to get so excited about how she would bring our vision to life. Well... about 2 months out from the wedding I completed changed my mind on what I wanted for flowers. With our big guest list and long tables, I wanted something that would pop a bit more than the baby's breath garland I initially envisioned. Jane was so relaxed, understanding and flexible about changing the vision. She made suggestions that I feel made our vision 100x better. Our wedding flowers were GORGEOUS and still make me so happy when I think about them. I cannot recommend J flowers enough. Go book with them!!! You will not be disappointed!
