Store is nice and clean Was nice environment...but they tried to keep it like the store in Falmouth...instead of making a new butcher shop and store..it's an updated copy of other store. And then we get to check out. I am on disability and the only assistance I receive is food stamps...I get one chance to go to store so chose them. After getting my groceries and paying an extra $10 for a frozen turkey breast...deal of the day...$207.00 so I run my EBT and notice the other cash register attendant kind of mean mugging me and my mom...all is said and done and she says "told you" To the attendant that was running our line...that attendant then pulls out the $3.99 dog bone I had purchased...and says loudly holding it in the air like a trophy...and smiles..."you can't purchase dog treats on a food card"... and looks at other lady who is now happy as a lark and basically laughing at us...I took out my stuff and will never be back. It was rude...and I didn't deceive anyone...I had other items not food stamp stuff that I paid in cash...she ran it as food and tried to use us as an example and I think it was the most rotten thing ever. Ebels and their employees are garbage in my eyes...and thanks for the $2.13cents in savings for overpriced stuff you buy at a supplier. You can see on the ticket they ran it as meat. I didn't deceive anyone and they have what it is on bag...and if they knew before hand and ran it as meat????? Then then set me up??? My 73 year old mom is mortified...not good show Ebels and truly don't recommend to anyone. Sorry I'm poor and disabled. I apologize I'm so beneath you that you feel the need to make us feel lower. Thanks for that. Truly you know...
Read moreThe general groceries are a little higher than big box stores but the sales are good. That being said it is the absolute best place to get meat from. The prices on meat are good and it's great quality. The store has a wide selection of meats to include some random animal meats that you wouldn't expect at your average grocery store. The premade deli food section is big with family sized meals and salads to grab and go single size meals and sandwiches. They also have a large selection of jerky, meat sticks, and other smoked items. They also have an ongoing special where if you spend $50 you can get the item of the week for $10 and it is able to be used every $50 so you can get more than one of you have a cart full. In addition to the main store they have a clothing store and a coffee shop. I really liked the coffee shop the scones and the coffee were great and the decor is neat and super comfy. I can't speak to the clothing store as I haven't been in but if it is like the Falmouth store they will have a good selection. You can't go wrong stopping in to check out the store if you have...
Read moreI travel from Baldwin just to go here. Their prices are better than the stores closer to me and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Being a small family owned store is probably what makes it as good as it is. They only have 3 locations. They also have a coffee shop and clothing store on site as well. They have a wide variety of beef, pork and poultry and seafood(frozen or fresh. smoked and non) with their own onsite butcher. You'll also often find a small section of some varying wild game available too. There may be other things available I'm failing to recall. I think this place would definitely please the carnivore crowd. They also sell some things in bulk sizes too. There's a decent produce section. They carry a good amount of just about everything else one would need. They have a deli that also serves lunch every day they're open. They have good sales and a weekly deal when you spend $50 or more. Plus they include a coupon for the coffee shop every time...
