We have been going to the same 3 restaurants in tustin/LeRoy area for 5 years and wanted to try somewhere else for dinner. The Buckboard was a unanimous decision. It was a fun night in Reed City and residents had turned out for entertainment in the form of karaoke when we arrived and then dancing when we were leaving. The Buckboard had plenty of open seating when we arrived, and we sat at the back of the bar. We tend to be a loud group, and we stay for a long time, so we try not to get in the way! Our waitress was incredibly friendly- didn't treat us like strangers- and made great suggestions with the menu. The food was outstanding too! It was a really good experience, and we will likely see you back at another visit!!

We sat at the counter and were able to witness a pro at the grill. Our wait was longer than expected (hey, it was our first time there) but worth every minute. The staff friendly and helpful. I had the Last Call burger (a BBQ cheeseburger) but had the three onion rings on the side. I requested well-done and it was cooked to perfection. My pub fries were crisp outside and soft inside. My wife had the BLT and she loved it. Thick bacon, fresh ingredients, and with the bread toasted on the grill, an outstanding sandwich. Her onion rings were crisp and tasty. We will return now that we've seen so many other dishes prepared by an experienced cook/chef. Prices were very fair.

The best little family owned hole-in-the-wall bar/grill around. Come in, sit down, don't be in a rush and enjoy some excellent food, drink and conversation. Lonnie and Sammy treat everyone like family. Lonnie is an awesome cook! His Time-Out Burger, custom burritos on Friday, along with all his other fresh burgers are world renowned. Come hungry. Daily specials from homemade meatloaf, 4 piece, hand dipped fish dinner, and my absolute favorite, the Friday special, Burrito-ala-Lonnie extraordinaire. OMG!!!

First of all, astonishingly slow. My party and I came here during a business spike, so we anticipated things to be a bit slow, but it took a solid 70 minutes or so to get our orders. Most of us weren't the least bit happy about that.

Me? I didn't horribly mind. It's a cozy place, the staff is very friendly, the food has generous portions and flavor, and there was only one cook manning the only grill there.

It took us 25 minutes or so to finish eating (and my burger was the gooiest, messiest burger ever, but DANG was it good!) and another half an hour to get the bill; we were there for a 50-minute venture and stayed a little over two hours.

Great place to hang out, kill some time, and socialize. Not a great place if you have other plans...
