Dairy Depot — Restaurant in Reed City

Cute local ice cream joint in Reed City.

A fair amount of ice cream dishes, and and hot foods as well. They have burgers, sandwiches, fish and Mexican. Just a large overall variety which is nice.

They have a nice big parking lot and even an extra outdoor picnic seating area for guests which is a really great touch.

The staff are polite and the prices are cheap. They are very quick as well.

Our only con was that the ice cream was very unimpressive. It's not bad, but we ordered 2 specialty Sundays, and they were just average. The soft serve was average, and the amount and quality of the toppings were below average.

However, you get a fair amount for the price and it's still ice cream...

I highly recommend their shakes and get the caramel medium, my favorite. No worries about walking around in a building, they serve at the window, updated and nice. They are in a nice area with picnic tables and good clean environment.

The employees their do look tired but they try to speed things up. Nice employees and they know what you want.

Went here two weeks ago while visiting family. Very nostalgic. It was exactly as I remember it. Food was delicious and the ice cream was even better. Staff was polite and the tables were clean. It’s outside eating only and the bathroom is across the street at the gas station but if you are looking for a nostalgic and delicious local place to eat, this is THE place!
