Came here for my first (admittedly, incredibly small) tattoo. Went to see Jen because the person who referred to her had incredible linework on a forearm piece. HUGE thanks to Jen for having GREAT patience with me through the process as I struggled to decide on a size of the piece and wasting their printer ink, like a total rookie. She did her absolute best to ensure I got my money's worth of time spent in the chair which was absolutely appreciated and very kind of her to do. I was aware of the shop minimum and how short of a time the tattoo would take due to its size (approx. 3/4in x 1/2in), so it was a non issue for me. It literally took about 3-4 minutes, if that. She was kind and encouraging through the process and I was glad to go there for my first tattoo experience. I have an idea of the process and look forward to getting more in the future. A lot of pros and cons. Great pricing semi friendly people. My biggest problem was the artist that was working on me was rushed by another artist there and my color is splotchy and some of its not there at all. I told them i only had a a set amount on me and that i would like to get something completed and then an hour through i was told i had only paid for an hour which had never even came out of anyone's mouth prior to the needle entering my skin or else i would have chose something else. Some people get paid hourly around here to do big pieces but I definitely didnt need to pay for another sitting since she was practically done with it. Other then that. The best there is. You won’t find a more honest and talented shop. They are professional in every aspect you can think of. I was supposed to get my tattoo last year, but I was having some health issues. While I’m sure some shops would have taken me back then just for the money, Black Sheep really cared about my health and me as an individual. That says so much. You won’t find integrity like that everywhere. A year later, I absolutely love everything about my tattoo, and not only that, my experience was phenomenal as well.
