My husband and I made the drive up from Fredericksburg to try this place out one Friday afternoon. It wasn't busy, 2 tables had a few people. There was a bartender behind the bar with a couple of patrons. One server. No one said anything when we walked in. We finally just sat at a table and waited for a while. Husband got up and went to the hostess stand to pick up a few menus. Our server eventually came to the table and took our drink orders. We also ordered the garlic curds. For the price, I expected more (not volume-wise, but more flavor, awesomeness). My husband ordered the Fauquier. He said the pizza was delicious and he was satisfied with the amount of meat on his pizza. I did a BYO with traditional sauce. I asked for pepperoni, fresh mozzarella and onions. I'm not sure if I got the fresh mozzarella ($3.00 charge). It seemed like what I got was a pizza topped with a ton of extra shredded mozzarella. I was expecting pieces of fresh mozzarella on top of the pizza sauce. Initially, I thought they left off the pepperoni, but I did find it buried under the cheese. They use the smaller pepperoni which I love, but sadly, I really only had 1 or 2 pieces per slice. The sauce was flavorful and the crust was delicious. There were chopped onions on the top. The biggest downside of this place was the service or lack of friendliness from the staff that was working and the flies. My goodness, the place was loaded with flies. I expect flies when I'm eating outside, but not inside. They were landing on our food and buzzing around our heads. It was kind of gross. I don't know where they all came from, perhaps they leave the back door open. I've been to many small town and small town restaurants, the people that work in these places tend to be overly friendly, but it was kind of the opposite here. Not rude, but they don't go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They are expanding next door to some type of club or something. We may give this place another shot, because while a little pricey, the pizza did have...

Made an impromptu trip over here for lunch as we're not too far but passed by here a handful of times and decided to give it a shot.

Our experience was great. It seemed like a quiet afternoon for the place, and had reasonably good service.

We only ordered the Fauquier pizza to share and I'll say it's certainly one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time- meats tasted fresh and that crust was amazing.

One of the gentleman working there (unsure of his position) offered to give us a slice of a Reuben pizza he was putting together. He said they offered it last year but they were considering putting it on the menu permanently. I'll say that I never had a Reuben pizza before, but this was tasty and the flavors were very well balanced.

I know some people have been complaining about the prices, but I'll add we spent close to $30 before tip here, and the way the economy is at the moment, folks shouldn't be surprised. I had ordered take out from Pizza Hutt earlier this month for a meat lovers medium size...and that cost just close to $30 as well. It's crazy and hope things will turn around soon.

All in all me and the wife were quite happy and will very likely return, especially since I didn't notice they make a "Cuban" pizza until we...

I’m genuinely disappointed with how much this place has changed. When I first visited two years ago, it was a great experience, which made me want to come back. Unfortunately, the last two visits have been extremely frustrating.

During our most recent visit, it was over 90 degrees inside with no air conditioning. My pregnant wife, our young son, and I were clearly uncomfortable. When our son accidentally spilled a drink, neither the waitress nor the bartender made any effort to help. After asking for napkins, we waited about two minutes before receiving just four. Then, someone tossed a towel toward my wife and still didn’t offer to refill her drink. She ended up walking to the bar herself to get a refill.

What made it worse was that the waitress, who appeared to be off to the side eating, didn’t acknowledge us, assist with the spill, take our order, or provide any support. The staff came across as indifferent and passive, which is incredibly disheartening, especially compared to the quality of service we experienced during our first visit.

This experience left a really negative impression. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements, because this used to be a place we looked forward...

We ordered the summer duck Pizza and were delightfully amazed. This Wood fired Pizza was nothing short of amazing as was the service provided by Chanda. This lovely lady was light on her feet and the most gifted server we've ever had the pleasure to be graced by. The pizza from the top of the crust to the very bottom was loaded with the freshest most delicious ingredients I can recall. It was simply amazing and is a very must get if you're anywhere near Remington Virginia. And if you're not it's worth the drive I promise! It was topped to perfection with drizzled Sriracha honey which kept off the perfect blend of flavors and textures I've ever experienced on any pizza I've ever experienced. Thank you Chanda for being simply lovely and attentive. We will absolutely be back in short order and ask for you personally and we will be getting the summer duck Pizza again and again. What a unique and surprisingly enjoyable experience. If you want to treat yourself well please come here and ask for Chanda and enjoy a summer duck Wood fired Pizza asap!
