The Corner Deli — Restaurant in Remington

My family and I have been going to this great mom and pop restaurant for over 15 years! It's a very small restaurant with a very small parking lot but the service is excellent and the food is delicious! Food specials every day and they serve breakfast and lunch. They're very kid friendly with high chairs and coloring books to keep the kids entertained. One of my favorites is a hot ham and cheese with banana peppers. Very simple but delicious! My father-in-law loves their steak and potatoes! For breakfast this morning we had pancakes eggs and a variety of breakfast meats and my mother-in-law had the sausage gravy. All of it was delicious and served to us quick and hot! We have the same server almost every time that were in there and he is always on top of drink refills and making sure we're happy with our meal. There may be a little bit of a wait but it is...

An unexpected surprise. This little place is what my G'pa would have referred to as a "greasy spoon joint" and rightly so. I had the absolute BEST patty melt with just the right amount of grease to make it tasty. The owner was friendly (I believe his name was Stan but I could be wrong). Whomever he was, he was warm & friendly and even took care of a customer who could use some lessons in manners while in public as his conversation was loud enough for all to hear and his language was very offensive, even for me, an old military wife! It's just a little country place, nothing fancy, but food is pretty good and the prices aren't stupid. Parking lot is challenging, especially the handicap parking. For a good burger, this place beats any of the fast food...

The Corner Deli in Remington is a Hidden Gem. It has a little bit of everything. Breakfast is served until 11 and it's mostly sandwiches, gravy platters, omelet platters, cereals, steak and eggs, egg platters, pancakes, french toast and other breakfast meats. It also has a lot of Diner dinners and deli meats, different types of salads and soups, Burgers, hoagies , hot dogs(THEY HAVE HALF SMOKES), grilled wraps and an extensive dessert menu including pies baked goods Sundae's Ice Cream and hand-spun milkshakes and root beer floats. Parking is a little cramped and the booths are small but it's a very Charming place in the waitresses are always very kind. They also sell bag chips drinks and Ice to go and other sundry items Advil and such....
