Crazy House Western Wear — Local services in Reno

The store itself had amazing clothes, shoes and selections. Some of the employees were very nice and welcoming. As soon as me and my husband and two kids walked in there was a lady looking at me up and down very ugly. We were asked if we needed help we politely said no thank you. We were asked again by another lady which we said no thank you, she then proceeded to give me a very ugly look and say “ok” very rudely. As we walked in to see other things the same lady was walking super fast towards us asking us again if we needed something or were looking for something just following us through the store. Wouldn’t let us shop around to see what we wanted to buy. My husband told her it was time for us to leave and she said they were closing the store. I told her she should have told us they were closing the store instead of making us feel like we were in such a hostile place. When someone one tells you no that should be the only time someone should say no to you. We were well in there before the store was closed. I have never been treated like this in my whole life. This was by far the WORST experience ever. I will never go there. And to top it off we are only here for my husband work. We are not from here nor did we know the hours of operations. We would have been ok with someone telling us they were going to close than to be treated...

This was my second time in this store. The first time we were followed but never spoken to until I asked the person following us around, that she may as well come over and help. The second time everything I touched was retouch by salesperson, so i decided if this is what your going to do then we may as well work together and save any unpleasantries. Once the salesperson understood that I wasn't there to steal we got along alitte better. I understand that theft is a big problem today and the loss could be great, but please be mindful that stereotyping leaves one blind to real thieves. I waited to write this review as to not over react as to why this happened. With that said the merchandise was incredible and the inside was beautiful with a great selection. Merchandise can be quite pricey, but the quality is worth the money on somethings. What I did like was there was a price point on sales items that would possibly meet most needs. 4 stars for the store...

First time buyer review: " This is the western store you have been looking for "

I was looking for some Anderson Bean boots. I searched locally, Cavenders, all over online, but couldn't find what I was wanting. I found Crazy House and couldn't decide between which boot I wanted. So, I reached out and a gentleman named Martin helped me. I asked for some pictures of 2 boots and he gave me GOOD multiple pictures. Not a bad pic where I couldn't see anything. He went above and beyond. I was wanting to buy another pair and he even sent me mulitple pictures of boots. He communicated great and even helped me afterwards. You can tell this guy didn't mind just doing a request.

Now the prices, in my opinion they are beating everyone online. Thats as simple as it is.
