Captain Alex is the HARDEST WORKING CAPTAIN / GUIDE in Ketchican!!! Santa's Choice run by Captain Alex and his family packages excellent fishing with walking to the boat accomodations, same day fish procesing, and a car to move your team around. Even in challenging fishing times, we stayed on task, changed routines or locations, and found plenty of fish every day, including a couple nice Kings in September (buy a stamp). Suffice it to say, we have coolers of fish to take home! This is the 9th trip for one of our team, and his comments identify this as the best complete package, and fishing experience he's had.

Best Capt ever. He’s a fish whisperer. A natural. Alex knows the secret places to make a haul. He is experienced, intuitive, and an expert. Alex also is nice to hang out with and watch in action. He is a machine. He gets you on the hook with multiple including 3-4 on at a time. We caught our limit. He is innovative and brilliant. He was never stressed or rude despite my inexperience. I would give him 10 stars if I could. I even got to jump in and swim when we got hot. Memories of a lifetime. Worth every penny and more. We dishes out of Salmon Falls an amazing resort with a chef who will cook...

Our experience with Santa's Choice Charters was nothing short of incredible. We caught our kings right away and still had the rest of the day to catch other fish. Captain Alex was extremely knowledgeable and able to keep us catching fish nonstop we always felt safe and he was great to make you feel comfortable even if your not an avid fisherman. It was truly like spending the day with an old friend we were never pressured or made to feel dumb if we made a mistake. I can't say enough good things about Santa's Choice Charters I would Highly recommend...
