Very unprofessional as well as unpleasant people in the customer service arena.I stopped by the store today to return an item in which i had purchased in Michigan. Mind you that I had the original receipt as well as the debit card in which I used to purchase this item The young lady behind the counter was not sure how to ring an out of state purchase up for a refund. Therefore she spoke with her arrogant manager, whom was a White male, that seemed to be on drugs and irritated. I could tell from the giddy-up that he did not have much experience dealing with Black males, based on his demeanor.
The first thing that this clown done was, took a box cuter out and opened a new box to ensure that I was not lying to him. My question is would you have done this to a white male probably not. Secondly he tell's me that the return will be going on a gift card. Mind you I have the debit card on person. The right thing to have done would have been to return the credit to my debit-card. Instead of being condescending and ignorant I said thats fine put it on a gift card. Personally had no use for this product and its my righty to return an item that I do not want or need.I had no problem with it being placed on a gift card.
The next thing that this racially profiling gentleman done really blew me away he asked for an id to put the credit on a gift card really you really must think that all blacks are stupid. I give you my ID then you have access to information so that you can start a file on my returning items to your store. You are the fool no me. Lastly please be careful how you treat people "God is always watch." People like you are the reason in which we have so much tension in the World. Continue to act this way. Just remember that middle to upper class blacks are the reason in which this store exist.
I strongly;y suggest that this gentleman gets a job in the back unloading trucks because he does not belong in...
Read moreI live right near mijers so it’s usually my store of choice. I’m there at least twice a week. However, it’s becoming a disaster. Many of the self check out kiosks are never turned in regardless of what time of day or night you come in, thus making it an unpleasant experience. There’s only one or two regular lines open and these cashiers barely greet the customers in their lines. I even asked why half of the self check out lines aren’t open and was told the self check out lines where you come in and it’s by the clothing dept. Don’t go on until 9am. Mind you it’s been plenty of times I’ve been there late mornings mid day and they still weren’t on. If I have to do a cashier job and ring my own items, scan and bag my own items at least have all of the self check out kiosk available for use to the lines won’t exceed through the aisles. Also the self check out with the conveyer belt if you have more than a few items it keeps backing up and you have to go from one end to another to keep it from halting and stopping the flow. Many of the shelves are wiped out, however, there’s always workers in the way talking and doing nothing pretending to stick the shelves, in the way and don’t even say excuse me as they see you looking for something and they proceed to get in the way. I waited in a self check out line yesterday around 6:30pm for 20 minutes until I got to the kios to ring my items. Why, because only about 6-7 of the self check out kiosk were on and only one regular line open. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I only have two stars because there are the same few workers that are nice and pleasant and the greeters at the front door, in particular there’s one that has a disability but she’s always sitting there full of cheer and delightful and the security guards are more customer service oriented than the cashiers and stickers. The workers behind the meat counter are always...
Read moreLike most Meijers, usually fine, but also always seem to be out of 1 of the main items I get bi-weekly that is a common well stocked item in the past at least. Switched here since the pandemic and RX supply chain issues, which hasn't been much of an issue here at all vs Walgreens, though the common generics seem to be of lower quality then say Teva and other Walgreens normally carries vs the sort of newish India FDA approved brands and China suppliers used to go around the FDA regulations and use different chemical processes to make the active ingredients cheaper.
Also know that the FDA rules state a variance in efficacy of 5% is allowed in generics and on my blood pressure one I noticed w over 5 generics from CVS to mom and pop places they all didn't work except 1, that was mixed w 3 brands they failed to mention at CVS at the time and I only noticed cuz the 1 that worked wo having to take multiple many days was the one I had the most left of and tried after a cpl weeks when I noticed and the other 2 were down to 2 left when I realized that there were 3 mixed in the 90 day and called the Dr. for a new rx to be sent to Walgreens, which was a much higher cash/good rx price, that it wasn't the one that didn't cause noticable changes in heart rate and BP when taken, which it wasn't and they were the same that Walgreens uses, though normally CVS and WAG both carry the same generics and the rest which are usually cheaper carry the newish (2013) generic suppliers, but many you can normally ask for the specific generic brand and they'll order it especially on...
