If I could give negative stars i would!!! So I take an Opal ring in to be polished, (it had glue on it and I wasn’t sure it could be saved). By the time the repairman received it it was cracked in the mail. I get back a cracked ring and the diamond store buys a peach colored stone to replace the one that was cracked In their possession ( keep in mind it’s nowhere near the same stone that they cracked. So I by a $80 stone to replace the on that was cracked. Now they are asking for $180 to build up the prongs. So essentially what I’m saying. Save your breath and keep your jewelry until you can take it to a jeweler that will accept full responsibility and accountability when they destroy a family heirloom. I went to the Diamond Store to buy an engagement ring for my girlfriend. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was never pushed or pressured to buy anything. I went to the store everyday for a week to shop and look through catalogs. Once I found a design I wanted they were able to order the ring. Turns out it was too small for my girlfriend so they took the ring back in the morning, sized it and we picked it up in the afternoon.
