It's an okay place. We went through the drive through and the menu is wayyy too much. They need to downsize it. I ordered a turkey pesto panini and I couldn't find the pesto? It was still delicious but not what I was expecting for a pesto panini. I also got an ideal slush and they put the ice cream on top which is seriously the worst place for it. Everywhere else either puts the ice cream in the middle or the bottom which makes for a much better eating experience. And it didn't help that the whole thing was grainy and pretty flavorless. I ordered my panini in a meal and the sign says you get chips, salad or soup, and a drink. I think most people expect this to mean you get both chips AND your choice between soup or salad. They need to add the extra comma after salad to show you only get 1 thing and the drink. They also don't let you sub your drink for their billion ice cream or slush options which is also frustrating. It really just felt like they were trying to nickel and dime me. Everywhere else allows substitutions and they deduct some portion of the combo drink price off. I would rather have a clear ordering experience where I know it comes with less than start my order and then find out I'm getting way less. Lastly, I got the salad (because I didn't know I wasn't getting chips too) and the salad had baby carrots on it. Like am I supposed to stab that with my plastic fork? They need to have an experience designer help them with their processes and...

My spouse ordered peach, reeses, kit Kat, and brownie shakes. We got one of the grossest conglomerates imaginable back. Instead of 4 different flavored shakes, we got 4 shakes with the 4 flavors combined. They were awful, my kids were not interested and I tried one and a brownie bite with peach goo made me gag.

My spouse called to let them know and the manager was a dismissive, rude, jerk. Told her it was her fault.

No one orders 4 shakes with 4 flavors mixed. If they really felt that is what they wanted, they should have politely confirmed. Most places will also charge for extra flavors so their policy of mixing everything is far from industry standard.

So if you order more than one different flavor shake I guess you have to explain that you want separately flavored shakes, because common sense is a virtue lacking.

I used to like the place, but had to delete my prior positive review after the way they treated my spouse during the call. Of note my spose was not asking and did not want a refund or even an edible replacement, just letting them know of the disgusting and unsafe creation they provided.

One of my family has celiacs so them combining the KitKat, which has gluten, was dietary issue. Luckily not a life threatening allergy but if my child had a severe peanut allergy the reeses could have been a...

Bread for bread bowls was average. Have to dump soup in it. Bread should be baked longer. Soups were just canned soups. Good for canned. Price is high for canned. Sourdough falls apart when eating. Could tell it was a bit older. Use of bagels on panini sandwiches. Stay away from pork. You don’t know if old but definitely not fresh. Sandwich club was good. Comes with spinach so that’s a plus. Ice cream on point. Obviously being dairy that’s where they shine. Highly suggested to skip the food hit the ice cream up. Owner is a bit feisty. Does not like food returned. Only 4stars due to ice cream being on point. Food is 2 stars. Canned and not fresh pork or bread! Read a comment 7 months ago takes a long time for manager to come out this is 100% true. All disappear to the back. But he did come out. And does not like to deal with issues. Then walks away. Why is that? Well he was in middle of making new ice cream so understandable in this situation. The other ladies working there great employees. Keep up...

Driving through Richfield and we were looking for a place to dine, but really did not want the regular fast food. We were directed to The Ideal Dairy. Not knowing what to expect, we decided to just go for it. Upon entering the building, I could see the appeal of this place increasing the longer I was there. From the ice cream freezers to the bread shelf, among other things. This is how I feel eating in a fast food diner ought to feel like. The lady that helped us was awesome. Energetic and seemingly glad to help us with the menu. I ordered the Turkey pesto sandwich. Such a simple sandwich but, boy oh boy, it had so much flavor. I ate it in record time, it seemed. I could have eaten three of those sandwiches. Paired with a broccoli soup, and I was surely satisfied with our stop here. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone passing through.

I stopped by due to the high rating. Ordered a Kid"s Meal grilled cheese. $5.99 Menu clearly states served with chips and kids drink. Order taker offered several flavors, I picked BBQ. When they totalled my order it was over $7. I paid and saw that they charged .50 for chips. Nothing said flavors are extra or that its additional for chips. These are homemade chips. The BBQ was a bit too spicy for me and I asked to trade for regular. They accommodated my request. I just feel if there's a charge for a flavor, both ethnically and morally and perhaps legally, too; it should 100% be disclosed on the menu so you can make an informed decision when spending your money. I did not ask about the up charge, but should have. It wasn"t cool to add on unnoticed charges.

6/5 (3/5 Average + 3) +1 Unique and Variety +2 Service (Overall and Allergy) +2 LGBT+ Friendly Would definitely come again for a treat. 👍 I'm sure there's a reason this joint was busy on a Monday afternoon, they have an extensive menu with a variety of choices. Primarily focused around ice cream and treats. It's tough to go to a place for ice cream when your friends have a dairy allergy. It's nice that the staff went out of their way to make sure there was no dairy contamination when making my friends a drink. Otherwise the staff was friendly, fast, and creative offering suggestions/ideas for things that weren't specifically defined on the menu. As a trans woman I've also always had respectful and positive interactions here! Everytime.
