I order to go each time I'm in town and have enjoyed my food each time. This time, I came with a friend (based on my recommendation), and we dined in. It took 15 minutes for a drink. The server didn't care for us to be there. She never once looked at me - ever during our 1.5 hours. I ordered my food, and she acted like I was an idiot for ordering only hashbrowns with only salt. Hashbrowns arrived and tasted like a funnel cake, so it was off-putting and inedible. Why would you put powdered sugar on hashbrowns when I said only salt (there was ZERO salt - how do you mess up "hashbrowns with salt". My wine (took over 15 min to arrive) had a fruit fly in it... how long has it been sitting out open to get bugs? Zero apologies from our server... barely an acknowledgment other than walking up and asking, "Is someone getting you a new glass?" Ma'am you are my waitress. How am i supposed to know?

There are a couple of younger blonde girls there working their tails off running around this diner that weren't our server. They answered our questions, and we had so much friendly/ playful banter. Unfortunately, they weren't our servers.

My server ruined my expectations of this place. I'll never go back.

At one point, my friends' salad cucumber looked edible, so I asked if I could order a salad except only one sliced cucumber without the rest... I was told no. That tells me nothing is fresh where I can't pay $10 for a single cucumber. Most restaurants would kill for that kind of deal.

Tldr: Don't dine in to enjoy your experience. The level 1 box dyed haired lady with 5lbs of bronzer will ruin the experience w/ her lack of...

We were in town for basketball games and gave this a whirl. We went at about 4:00 and it wasn’t busy. We ordered the western burger, two orders of the tri-tip, and pancakes.

Here are some callouts:

Atmosphere - clean and inviting.

Service - fantastic! Our server was a delight. Refilled drinks appropriately. Food was prepared quickly. Asked if we wanted any to-go cups for our drinks at the end of our meal.

Food - quite good with room for improvement. Quality of food was on point. The burger patty was seasoned well. If you get the western burger just know that it is quite messy and is stacked pretty high. Tell them to go easy on the BBQ sauce. Very tasty burger otherwise. My boys ordered the tri-tip medium rare and they nailed the cook on it. However, we didn’t really care for the seasoning they used on the tri-tip. It tasted like a season we associated with sausage or pastrami. Thinner cuts would be better than thick chunks as well. We wouldn’t get the tri-tip again. Pancakes were huge and flavorful. You’ll need to ask for more syrup than what they bring out. They are pretty sweet as well.

Portion sizes were great. You get a lot of food for the $15 to $20 per plate. Fries were crispy and the mashed potatoes were tasty.
