I have to say, I have bought many EGO products from Homesteaders Madison and Homesteader Richland Center. I love the customer service and I have not found it to be a problem at all! I feel a part of the family atmosphere they have there. Do I have to wait while staff are talking to other customers, sure! That's not a problem to me! In fact, I see that as a positive. Being busy can also mean that they are great at their job! I would hope that if I was there first, they would help me first. I have been in the store when they have had just a massive of influx of customers. It happens and not everyone can be helped instantly. They always acknowledge me and say, we will be with you shortly, to which I typically respond, no rush. I have also dropped units for repair at both locations and have found that they are done in a very timely manner. They may reach back out to you asking if a part purchase is okay before just doing, and as long as you communicate back to them, they will do it and get it back to you. Sometimes I need to wait on a part, but that is not on Homesteaders, that's on the supply shortage, or the company that sends it. I always have to talk to Rick the owner and the last time that I got past the screening of calls he wasnt very nice and he told me that he would have to call me back with the details and never did. As of Feb 20 2013 I have not recieved my call back or the waste oil heater. I am taking legal actions against them. They will make false promises and then accuse you of lying if you claim they didn't actually fix anything. This has been a trend as I have used their services multiple times, not because I wanted to, but because they are the only choice in this area. No healthy competition....and that's probably the core issue here. They like to belittle you especially if you are young or female.
