My wife and I recently moved to the area after having lived in Milwaukee for a number of years. In Milwaukee, taco trucks seem to be on every corner, so we ate tacos all the time; I like to think we know tacos pretty well.

We were excited to find what appeared to be an authentic taqueria not far from our home, but were seriously disappointed when we went to get some of our favorites (tacos al pastor and tacos birria). The al pastor were OK at best; they were very heavy on cumin and I didn't taste any achiote or citrus flavors. That may not have been as much of an issue had we received the extra limes we requested (we asked for extra and didn't even get one lime slice per taco).

The birria (?) were significantly more disappointing. I've never known birria not to be fried or served with consome; these were neither. The lack of consome was particularly disappointing due to the dryness of the meat.

All of this is made worse by the price ($3.50/al pastor and $3.75 for birria). I understand prices will likely be higher due to regional availability of ingredients and whatnot, but street style tacos (as these were) are typically $2-2.50/taco, with birria typically being a bit more due to the extra work of frying and making consome).

Maybe I'll try it again in 6 months to a year, but this most recent visit left me...

I will start saying that I am aware that they had just moved to a new location with a much bigger dining room and a drive through so I tried to show grace when I was dining here. We walked in there wasn’t a designated person to greet us and set us. We kinda just stood there until someone noticed us and suggested a table in a general area. The restaurant was quite busy and the two servers appeared to be stretched thin and very busy. Our biggest issue was waiting. Too much time spent waiting to give out order, for our food to be delivered and waited the most time for our bill after asking several times for it and for problems to Be fixed on it. We finally went up to the front and asked for our bill to pay. Our server was polite but he made mistakes like not putting an item in our bill, not asking what type of meat we wanted and never falling through with bringing the bill back to us. The food was “ok”. Our biggest complaint concerning food was the unseasoned ground beef. We ordered a taco salad and taco fries. I am willing to give this establishment another try and hoping that they will get more organized in...

Rude staff, long wait times, overpriced menu, bland food (I mean bad), orders are always wrong. If there's an issue the owner is incredibly disrespectful, never fixes the problem and refuses to give you what you payed for. They only half fill their side containers of rice and beans. They give you a large container with barely any consommé for Birria tacos(it's disgustingly salty anyway). They won't give u the amount of hot sauce you ask for with take out orders even for large expensive orders (it's seriously an issue every time) even though you can get as much as you want at the table when you dine in. You can write a book about how bad this place is for a restaurant. It's a chore to deal with RC Tacos every single time and frankly not worth the time, money or mental preparation needed to deal with this place. Seriously save yourself from the terrible experience, bland overpriced food and horrible customer service. Find somewhere...

Tiny/Little spot with GREAT food and friendly/ homey atmosphere. May not be able to handle a large dine-in crowd (just two large tables inside), but does also have some outside seating & the food is well worth it. The "camarones a la diabla" we were warned was very very spicey. They were correct, there was even some sweating involved, but both of our shrimp dishes (one spicey and one garlicky) were delicious. The dessert (mini chimis) were also delicious. Hot & Crispy with sugar and cinnamon on the outside and cool raspberry and cream filling on the inside.

Ok so to start the staff is super friendly however there food is horrible I ordered to go, the chicken quesadilla and it was literally mush. Also ordered the 3 taco platter the meat was questionable? Beans were really soupy usually with beans you see beans there were no beans. The rice was dry. Chips and queso, chips were so full of oil you can smell it through the bag..Maybe I'm just used to my husband's street tacos, looks like it's back to Culver's again. The 1 star is from my dog she loved the queso.
