Quaker Antique Mall — Local services in Richland Township

Ok first off this place is super OVERPRICED even with some 10-20% off sales. (eBay gives you a better bang for your buck). Very few things were priced well at this location. This tells me that the rent for booths is high, therefore sellers need to price things high. Also the customer service is very poor here! The vibe here is terrible. Not one person said hello or asked if i needed help. I heard them say it to others nearby but not me. Could it be because I’m a Hispanic younger individual and they didn’t think I was serious about collecting? The lady at the front desk talks at a volume level of 100 and kills the whole shopping experience. I heard her throughout the store. I don’t usually write reviews, but I had such a poor time here. This is a wonderful antique mall! They have a huge selection of different items from different vendors that I think are mostly reasonably priced. The staff (in my own experience) is very friendly and kind. There is one thing to know about this place though, when you are shopping around there is a guy that follows you around and there is also another guy that, if you are holding items, will ask if he can hold them for you up at the front desk. I get it that they don’t want anybody stealing and all but for the guy following you around it is a little odd to say the least. Next time I’ll ask at the front desk if he follows because he is checking for shoplifting or something similar. Altogether it is a very good shop with nice friendly people and I recommend...

I'm a 52 year old women. I had a wonderful childhood. Tons and tons of fond funny loving memories fill my head and heart. My daughter and I just started going out on weekends, pickin'. We made the trip to quakertown Antique Mall and loved it. My heart just about exploded when we were in the clearance room, and I stumbled across a plate and bowl set I used to have as a child. Right there in the store, I started to cry. Who knew something so silly as a plastic plate set could stir up such emotions. Needless to say, the set and some other treasures came home with me.
