Very nice, good music and beautiful day except for a little kid be side us kept choking the whole time, should of kept him home. It's stuff that can ruin a great time. Anyways the acts on stage are great but the best part is what is going on in the back. Others bring their instruments and have jam sessions. What happens is one may start playing and others will follow suit, its really cool. There is at least a dozen different gigs going on a small area and no one is overpowering the other.

If you like bluegrass and folk music this is a must see if you are in the area. Not only do they have great bands but musicians from all over come out to play in circles at the park. In one circle you will see different a styles of banjo, guitar, fiddle, and mandolin playing. For 5 dollars it is completely worth it. Food and drink are good and reasonably priced.

A wonderful day in the park, the nonstop music ,for a hometown nonprofit organization, Lyons, for the musicians of all levels. Jam sessions set up through the park for anything with a string. Grand champion to be crown later. Lots of food, drink and stimulus for toe tapping.

This is an annual event that I try not to miss. Donation parking is plentiful and well coordinated. Very appealing food service. Music is everywhere, on the stage as well as in the tree shaded areas of the park. It is a bring your own chair event. It is fun to shop the many vendors offering music items as well as a wide variety of home crafted items and...
