Sometimes, when you don’t have much for parking options, if it’s legal it works!
I got here at 13:30 on a Saturday. There was plenty of parking. It is currently 21:00 and from where I’m parked, I still see parking spaces. However, I can’t speak on behalf of a weekday.
It’s definitely a trashy lot. Inside however, seemed decent and not as bad as the truck lot.
Now let me add this… I am a company driver and I was doing a trailer swap, but when I got here, the trailer that I was supposed to be picking up was no longer here. The trailer was towed.
Since 13:30 my company has been unable to find out any information regarding what happened with our trailer. Because I don’t want to sit here for the entire weekend, nor can I, because the sign says you could only be here for 10 hours I decided to do some of my own research .
This might be information that local people or people who frequent this area may already know but for those that don’t know this is what I found.
Dial #95 if you have had a trailer or a truck or both towed from here or any other equipment and they can give you more information. I was not successful getting the information on the trailer that I was supposed to get because I only had the trailer number and I needed to know the plate, make and model. I had to hand over the process to my company but for anyone else who has this information or owns the property that got towed themselves that shouldn’t be a problem
Just thought I’d share to at least offer a starting point considering there aren’t any signs that tell you who the towing company is if you do get towed or...

Otherwise, this place is decked out with ambient lighting, tall, high chairs, and fully installed state of the art restrooms. Do try to flush often to prevent clogging.

I was going through New York City and all of a sudden felt SO TIRED! I saw the sign that said 49 minutes to get over the George Washington Bridge. I was freaking out. Could I stay awake that long? So I saw the sign for Service Area next exit. I could have sworn that there was no place to get off I-95 around the city unless you wanted to venture far off into one of the neighborhoods. Ooooh Booooy! I had never even noticed this place before. Thank you so much! I went to the back of my van and just slept. Then I kept having to go to the (very-clean) plaza building and restroom. About every hour I did this until about 2am. Don't know why my body did this. Was afraid they'd think I was doing some kind of drug deal. Was afraid to move because I really hadn't slept well. Nobody bothered me. I kept seeing the same vans in the parking lot and the same couple of cars so I think the people in them were sleeping as well. I finally left but this place was totally cool and not hard to get back on the road once done, which I had feared because it's kind of a long drive in, compared to most rest areas that are right off the exit. But I'd totally recommend. Don't be afraid! It's not dangerous, it's well it, it's easy to get back on the freeway, with plenty of signs! Thank you Vince Lombardi Service Area (Yes, there are giant photos of VL, as well as other NJ sports figures (gymnasts, I think,...
