I personally am a huge fan of Popeyes, so when my fiancĆ© and I were driving down the highway, starving, and we saw a service area with a Popeyes sign, I made sure we stopped. Aside from the food being barely edible, when we walked up to the counter, not one of the five people behind the counter greeted us, they just stood there with very impatient looks on their faces and waited for us to place our order. The unpleasantness of our experience, among many others Iāve read in these reviews, should be taken into consideration by the Popeyes company as a whole. I feel embarrassed FOR THEM, that they allow ācustomer serviceā like this in one of their establishments. Working as a sales professional has given me the perspective I firmly believe that no matter what your job is, you have to excel in customer service to keep both your customers and your work environment happy as well as hold on to repeat business. Although Iāve had nothing but good experiences with Popeyes in the past, my experience tonight has totally left a bad taste in my mouth, and Iām no longer sure about my outlook on Popeyes in general. There's no adequate signage to advise customers where to line up and where to pick up food so we were left to fend for ourselves in determining who had already ordered and who was waiting. Though they seemed to be sufficiently staffed, food was exiting the kitchen after long waits. Our order took over 15 minutes. And we left and someone was still waiting for theirs. There was not more than 3 customers waiting. In total. Every one of our orders took an unusually long amount of time.

In this case, the service at this Popeyes is the worst service I have ever received at any fast food place ever. It's almost impressive how much negligence and unnecessary hostility the staff fit into such a short amount of time. While some of the staff were busy yelling at another customer the man who took my order didn't ask what sides I wanted for my order or even speak out loud to me.
