Wonderful antique store 👍 Didn’t know what to expect walking in as it was more of a random stop on my way to New York state. I asked about vintage books, and staff let me comb through piles of them in the back room. Quite fun really, easy to lose track of time in there as I’m always drawn to good artwork inside vintage books. Nice collection of ephemera too, and getting to sort through drawers of it to find some nice gems.
Staff was otherwise very helpful and friendly. Definitely felt like I got a good bargain after they asked me what I thought was a fair price for bundling everything together. As I was outside taking snapshots of the Coca-Cola mural by the side of their store afterward, I came across one of the staff again, and he was happy to share a bit of history behind the 100+ year old mural.
Very refreshing experience, especially for what started out as a random stop. Hope to drop by Gallery 219 if I find myself in the area...
