Proper Wellness Rio Dell Cannabis Dispensary — Local services in Rio Dell

I had a disappointing experience at Proper Wellness in Rio Dell tonight. While I've generally had okay experiences here before, the customer service was surprisingly rude. I forgot my wallet and returned to my car for about 2-3 minutes to look for it. Unfortunately I could only find some cash. When I came back in to ask if I could purchase a vape battery with just cash, I was immediately interrupted and told to leave before I could even finish my question. I understand the need for ID. A simple, 'I understand you have a question, but due to regulations, we can't allow anyone inside without an ID. Could you step outside and I'll be happy to answer it there?' would have been much more professional. To further add to the negative experience, the employee followed me out to the parking lot and watched me drive away, which felt unnecessary and a bit unsettling. This incident has unfortunately deterred me from returning; I'll be taking my business to Eureka instead, where I've consistently found dispensaries with better customer service and competitive prices. Not too bad except that they are helping to bring big canna businesses up into the hills of our beloved sacred land. Though the prices are a lil expensive, they do have some fire strains in and carry Sovereign Farms ( lots of cups won 🏆 ) is on hand, & for sure one of my favorites on the current very big Cali flower market. I do like the convenience of its closeness for when I do need some medicine I know its available, and just a quick drive. I guess I'm a lil bit spoiled and as a veteran grower, & patient I have come to expectthe best. Alot like most of the industry in all states, its mostly staffed and ran with much younger adults whom were not smoking even ten years ago, though many here are knowledged and friendly. I say all in all not a bad place, but don't expect any northern Cali brotherhood prices. I had LA Pop Rocks from Clarkie's a few months ago and WOW... CHEERS PS. Love to see the Space Jems be like 25-50 mg, they are great, trully a Humboldt Bubble hash...

Prices are a bit cheaper at this location on some items than at the Eureka one. The folks were very nice and knowledgeable but didn't seem to have that great attitude pep as one see's in a lot of dispensaries. I went on the Saturday right before 4/20 and they were so busy. But they got us in and out without a hitch then I went again this past Saturday when they first opened. Plenty of staff on hand for sure and a decent selection of product for a small store. I love the Uncle Arnie's drink they are the bomb wish we could get them at the store here in Eureka. Anyways, no complaints here except talk more and smile more 😃😜 but I am a morning human they may not be lol. Keep up the good work out...
