AMC Riverview 14 — Local services in Riverview

This movie theater USED to be amazing. The original owners took pride in making this theater the best. The food was always affordable. It always stayed clean and updated. The awards were amazing and the service was top tier! BUT!!!! Ever since AMC took it over last year, it’s slowly going downhill. The food is now overpriced. They even limited the item selection and started charging more for the same stuff. There’s never an adult around. It’s like it’s ran by kids. The hallways are always dirty and never clean. The seats are pilling and look a hot mess. They never have certain items on the menu, like nachos or certain drinks. Who doesn’t have nachos at a movie theater on a Saturday? We asked them about this and they said that they were in a fight with the nacho distributor. You’re a business!! Get over yourself and make a deal!!!! The rewards are a complete joke. I’ll give it about 1 more year before they completely turn this theater into ever other horrible AMC. Really sad, because this is the theater we used to take visitors from out of town to, just to show off how amazing it was. Now I’m never going back. It’s a...

This theater is really nice. Now I haven't visited a movie theater in many years and I know I am and was a little out of touch. Even though some of the concession products gave me sticker shock! I have to remember that this is 2022 and many people don't go to the movies like they used to and the theaters have to make some sort of money to stay open, right! I guess maybe the thing that I like the most at this theater in probably at many others was the seating and or the chairs themselves. They are exquisite! Usual amenities exist here, clean restrooms, friendly staff. I'd like to mention that the last time I went to a movie theater you use paper tickets that you bought at the door and now it's all technological, I did have to get some of the staff to explain to me and help me with some of that particular aspect of entrance into the movies, and I have to give them credit they understood and was extremely helpful to this senior citizen! All in all a great experience. But don't expect a$1.50 hot...

This place was super disappointing. My wife and I used to come here a couple times a month, but we moved away 3 years ago. We decided to do a day date and came here 2 weeks ago. Our movie started at 12:50pm. We got there and that great restaurant that used in there now only sells drinks, the only concessions they had were popcorn, soft drinks,"some hot dogs", and some of the candy options on display. Literally everything else they said they ran out of. On top of all that we got to our seats and the armrests were just torn up. Also, there were cobwebs all around the project area. We went there to have a great time and make a fun afternoon out of it and it was very disappointing. We feel like we paid for a bad experience. How do you run out of stuff to the point that all you have to sell to customers is "some hot dogs still but are running low, popcorn, soft drinks, and only a couple options for candy.
