1st time : I ordered a cheeseburger went through the whole ordering process of what kind of cheese blah blah blah came back said oh we have no burgers we're waiting on our truck. So I ordered a flatbread with some grilled chicken. Great choice I was told by the bartender. Came back oh we have no flatbread either but if you'd like you can have a buffalo chicken sandwich. So I ordered that with waffle fries. The sandwich was delivered without the fries I was told the fries would be ready shortly. 4 minutes later I was told another 4 minutes and your fries will be out by the time I finished my sandwich they finally brought me my fries which I was charged $1 for an up charge from chips to receive the waffle fries 10 minutes after I was done with my sandwich. I guess I would say let's wait and see how this place develops after it works out all the kinks. 2nd visit : Since you were willing to respond I decided to try your place again. Burger Thursday. 8$ and in stock. Ordered. Cooked perfect. All good until ... my check the burger cost $12 dollars. oh well not that big of a deal and it was good. 3rd visit : Lets try the burger and waffle fries again . Nope NO FRIES IN STOCK sorry. No worries 86 the fries. Ordered the Riverview Burger. Medium well. Menu states pepper jack cheese, mine had no cheese, menu states " Riverview sauce" whatever that is , mine NO sauce if any kind. Ordered med well, Mine wed rare with blood dripping down my hand after the first bite. Add that to the kitchen music as loud as the over head music so not sure what I was suppose to hear but it was just 2 songs overlapping each other. I am gonna have to use the 3 strikes I am out rule and keep looking for a place I can get a beer and a burger. Seems easy but not here. Oh and just a helpful hint. You have 7 or 8 tv's behind the bar why do you have side by side tv's with the same channel on them??? small detail I know but you want people to come watch sports and drink beer and eat ? Anyway I don't think you will even read this edited review as you have already responded that my issues are due to "retraining the staff" Guess it's back to Longhorn's ....
Read moreIve been looking forward to this place opening for months. I am a craft beer lover and a new tap house near me is right up my alley! The service was great! Our server was very personable and kind. We were thrown off they didn’t have any high chairs. We have a 1 year old that we have to bring along and he had nowhere to sit but our laps. The beer menu has some progress to be made. Items on the list were similar to what you can get at any chain sports bar in the area. Nothing on the list made me excited except for “the other west coast ipa” that was available in a can. A little confused on the set up as the liquor area lines the whole length of the bar and the taps are in a tiny corner near kitchen. While understandably an issue of the layout due to a business being right next to them, it throws off any beer lover who is looking for the nice big wall of taps. Im hoping they get some beers on tap eventually that make me say “wow! They have this on tap?”. The outside area is very nice. They go for the open concept of a sliding garage like door to stay open however it being florida with a 104 degree heat index on most days it was a bit hot and humid inside. Hopefully they save that open concept for the fall as its too hot right now or get some upgrades on AC. The decor is nice inside. Love the “dont worry be hoppy” wall. My wife and I had the buffalo chicken dip. Chips were great but the dip was so pureed that it reminded me and my wife of our 1 year olds food. Have not tried other food yet so hopefully some other menu items are better. Im hoping they make some changes quick as a craft beer lover like myself will either buy some good cans and drink at home or just head for the breweries in Tampa. If its an average sports bar they are going for with liquor and domestic brews then they will get that type of crowd. People looking for another beef o’ bradys...
Read moreHoly moly, I just witnessed an absolute dumpster fire that smoked us out.
Restaurant full of smoke, eyes sting, apparently happens everyday. Only one guy in the kitchen, super weeded, and probably getting smoke inhalation.
After 1 hr they tell us they had to run to the store for more tortillas for the salad wraps. Wraps finally come and they are micro wraps with cold fries. The cook pressed the salad wraps until the tortilla was very burnt. Who presses salad wraps? All the lettuce was wilted. Brussels were raw yet burnt. Burger was over cooked but good and the beer was good.
They have only been open for 3 weeks and has some serious kinks to iron out. Seriously call your hood guys ASAP, the restaurant should not be full of smoke. Talk about a rough opening, hopefully they get their stuff in order cause it was a cool spot.
Edit: You cant comp inedible food that was sent back! Only my burger was comped. The two wraps were supposed to be replaced with salads that never came out after another hour wait. We had to goto another restaurant cause obviously only 1 out of 3 people eating is not okay and far from satisfying. Everybody...
