Booked a family vacation with KVS travel last August. We weren’t set on where we wanted to go, just knew it had to be in a tropical setting with clear blue waters for snorkeling and enjoying the beach. After reading many KVS reviews we decided to contact Shawn at KVS.. This was our first family vacation outside the US so we relied heavily on Shawn’s advice and recommendations to help us choose a location that was close to what we were looking for. Shawn was great with communicating. Whenever my wife or I had question's he was right on it quick to respond. I explained to Shawn that our entire family loves the beach and more than anything else we wanted to be at a location where we can spend the majority of our time enjoying the clear tropical waters. After knowing this, Shawn recommended a hotel in Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic. He provided info and personal videos of both the hotel and area. We decided to take his advice and booked our trip through KVS. When we arrived at our hotel, to our dismay, the beach had seaweed nearly 3 feet high up & down the coast, and the water so murky like a light chocolate milk. We were tremendously disappointed to say the least. When I contacted Shawn and told him how bad the seaweed was here he apologized and said his contact in Cap Cana never told him how bad the seaweed was at the time. I really do feel Shawn & Amanda are sincere and perhaps their contact in Cap Cana let them down, but I’m sorry, when a family is spending that kind of money and relying on you as a travel/vacation expert, and is telling you that “thee” most important part of this trip for them is to be in a location with clear blue tropical waters and you don’t do your do diligence to ensure the location you are recommending to a them has the top thing on their list, you have failed them. We ended up spending thousands more to do snorkeling excursions away from Cap Cana just to experience what we were so looking forward to on this trip, that clear blue tropical waters. Making the best out of the situation, we did still enjoy the hotel swimming pools and excellent food. Our rooms were on point. All of this is the reason I’m not giving less...

We found Shawn and Amanda through their YouTube channel and more specifically a video about Hermitage Bay Antigua. Shawn immediately called us to see what our vacation expectations were for a great vacation, and destination. Shawn and Amanda assured us through their experiences at this resort, it would exceed our requirements and expectations. We traveled to Hermitage Bay December of 2020, in the middle of COVID for a week and did so flawlessly based on their knowledge. We traveled without issue but we had the peace of mind of having Shawn’s personal cell phone number incase issues arose. We absolutely loved Hermitage Bay and Shawn and Amanda couldn’t have recommended a better resort for us. In fact we had such a great experience last year that we just booked a 10 day stay through KVS travel at the same destination. We have full confidence that we will be blown away again this year. Hermitage Bay quoted us a stay with a repeater discount and Shawn and Amanda worked very hard to ensure we received the same discount booking through KVS. Something Shawn is big on that was very important to us is that we spoke together with Shawn and Amanda on a phone call before final booking to go over every detail such as flights, layovers, arrival, departure times as well as all costs of the trip. Another huge benefit of booking through Shawn and Amanda is that the price we were quoted with travel was exactly what we ended up paying, no hidden fees or add ons at the end.
