Food Lion — Local services in Rock Hill

I shopped here all the time. The only thing I don’t like is if your hours say that you open at 7 o’clock that means all portions of your store should be open at 7 o’clock. I got up early in the morning just to come here to get a money order for the manager to tell me that she hast to do the paperwork from last night why you didn’t complete that the night before as a customer I feel like you should be able to just oblige. All I need is a money order it really doesn’t take that much to print. She told me to shop around because she doesn’t know how long it’s gonna take for her to get everything done. I’ll come to the front after being in the store for at least 10 minutes and you’re still assisting people instead of opening up the money center that’s the one thing that I don’t like about Food Lion. This location is not the only location that does that the one that is down the street on Main Street does the same thing the hours of operation are from 7 AM to 11 so with that it shouldn’t be any excuse as to why I can’t get Assistance, besides that customer service is pretty good I never really have a complaint I like the fact that they be having deals on a food but that was annoying because if I would’ve known that they wasn’t opened and the money said I just early I would’ve waited to get up and do what I had to do later now I have to go to Walmart, which is making me go...

Update 04/13/16 i left this review one year ago since then they have remodeled the store, and eliminated the self checkouts! huge improvement in customer service. I actually enjoy shopping here now.

Old review I have been a regular shopper at this location for the past year. The customer service has drastically declined lately.

Today 04/25/15 I attempted to do some shopping made it to the check out and was forced to give up and leave my cart full of groceries sitting in the self check out lane due to no employee’s willing to help a customer.

Not due to a lack of employee’s there was plenty of them standing around doing nothing unfortunately they could not be bothered to help a customer.

I would recommend you drive 3 minutes down the road to publix wile more expensive the attitude and helpfulness of the employee’s make it worth the trip. Much cleaner store with a pleasant environment and friendly and...

I love Food Lion out of all the grocery stores that my family and I go to. They have the freshest meat at the best price you can find. We absolutely love Food Lion! The whole store is well-priced. It's good to know that with the rise in inflation, someone still has our backs. Plus, they have a rewards program that is attached to the MVP Bounce Rewards, where we get money off. We get around $35 every month in free groceries. I can't tell you how many times I've gone in there and rung up $15 worth of stuff and didn't have to pay a dime—absolutely nothing! Why would anyone not shop at Food Lion? Thanks, guys, for being such a great store and truly understanding the definition of good, honest business.
