They warranty nothing! And want to charge you diagnose the issue they said they fixed the 3 previous visits. Can they say lawyer? I sure can. I wouldn't let Bisconti scratch a pimple on your (fill in the blank)! It's the mother board, replaced, still have issue. Sorry it's your screen, replaced, still have issue. Nope sorry It's a video cable, replaced, still have issue. Oh we're sorry... it was your battery, yeah that's it, the battery. 2 1/2 months of replacing parts and $500 later I go to fire up the laptop (it's special use taxes for clients hadn't been used for over 3 months) and the exact same issue as before. Diagnosis for free... that's not what your parts change said. And if course you already know it is some new issue. Thanks but no thanks... it will diagnosed by a real professional and this fly by night (Bisconti) can pay for it all and the $500 they stole from me.
Jan. 30,2021 It took a few days and money well spent, but after taking the laptop Bisconti didn't fix to a reputable repair shop in 20 minutes it was perfect! But I had to be sure...I requested that the old parts (mother board, the screen, a connector that was seated and THEN the battery [that were diagnosed in that order on 3 different visits] re-installed and just guess what... just guess? The Laptop worked just fine with the mother board, the screen and the battery Bisconti diagnosed were bad. After the 3rd time they claimed to have fixed; I said can we make sure because the first 2x is why I'm here now. The tech (Josh I think) plugged it in and guess what... yep NO SCREEN! Then they tell me, oh your battery was bad. I ASKED THAT VERY DAY, HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO BELIEVE THAT YOU BATTERY REMOVED & REPLACED PRACTICALLY EVERYTHING; that those components were defective? Oh of course ($500 later) they were cause they checked them. But now they work? So, today I returned to the store to discuss this miracle that the old parts were good as gold and working. And do they have any intent of making this right. They refused to help me because I said I would seek legal restitution. I then asked for the diagnostic report of the repair sequence and was so angry didn't even look at it until I left, and this is what i got...a template that he stood there in front of me writing pass/fail. Read moreI would never go back to Bisconti Computers again. They charge $69 just to look at your lap top and tell you it is broke.....no kidding I knew what was wrong with it in the first place. It took 3 weeks for them to finally give me some options of what to do. I only had a cracked screen and their two options were to order a screen from China which would take 2 months and cost $469 or they would get me a refurbished laptop and transfer the data from my old one to that one for $469. It seemed that $469 was the magic number around there. I would call to check on my laptop and every time I was told that the person working on my computer would call me back.....needless to say it took days before I ever received a call back each time. When I did get a call back no one could answer any of my questions. I finally gave up and went to pick up my laptop frustrated with the whole process. When I picked up my laptop I was told it was impossible to hook it to another monitor and make it work. LIES. My brother disabled the touch screen and like magic everything worked just fine (just without touchscreen). Also, all the screws were left out of my laptop they didn't even bother putting it back together when they gave it to me. I was cheated out of information because they were trying to get me to spend an outrageous amount of money there. It also took 2 minutes to find a replacement screen for $94 on the internet. Why did it take 3 weeks for them to find one and attempt charge me $469? I wasted time, money, and was told a lot of lies all for nothing. Read moreI brought my iPhone 7 Plus in for repair on Tuesday September 14th, 2021. It was charging intermittently. Since that was my only phone, I told them how important it was because my dad calls me from the nursing home 2-4 times a day and if he can’t get ahold of me, he sends out the search committee. It is also my lifeline to possible employment. The lady at the front counter told me that she would have the technician take a look at it and email me with a quote by 4pm. She said there would be a $25 diagnostic fee and that could be applied to the repair. I waited til way after 5pm with no email, I used a friends phone and called to see what was going on. She said the tech went home for the night but it would be $148 to repair. I asked what was wrong with it and she said the USB port needed to be replaced. I assumed she meant the charging port. She said the part would need to be ordered and that the tech would call or email when the part was in. In the meantime I went and picked up the phone to use til they got the part in. I went and plugged the phone in to charge and nothing! It would not even charge now! Before it died completely, I transferred calls to my friends phone but was left stranded without texts and all the apps I use daily. The next day they never called or text. I ended up calling “Rockford Cell Phone Repair” and the nice gentleman came over and picked it up and had it fixed the same day for $75! I will NEVER use Bisconti for anything! Not cell phone or computer repair! Horrible service and horrible...
