Trapt Escape Rooms — Local services in Rockport

We vacation in the area every Summer, and decided to finally give this one a try. We are a family of 5 with our youngest being 4 years old. The website said kids were free, so we made reservations for 4. When we arrived we were told we would be charged the full price for our child. It put us in a bad spot, because our youngest was all excited to be a part of it, but we knew he wouldn't really be participating and was just there to be with us. The employee said he would check with the owner, and he said we had to pay. So, now we had 4 tickets, and they wanted us to pay another $40. My wife refused as it was ridiculous to charge a 4 year old and the website said otherwise. This quickly took our planned family activity and dragged it down. My wife didn't end up joining us, and it wasn't the same. The puzzles were somewhat difficult and we had to keep using the maze master for hints. It was kinda cheap and homemade feeling. DEFINITELY not worth the money, compared to other commercial escape rooms we have attended. Save your money and give it to someone who isn't a greedy and what seems to be a power complex owner. Not a small business we would ever...

Went to our first escape room tonight. From the moment we walked in the door we felt at home..the man behind the counter, ( I believe his name was Zack )was nothing but helpful and polite.. we did the upside down room with 2 adults and 3 boys aged 12.. we escaped with only 4 mins and 10 seconds left.... the facility is very clean and up to date.. they even have arcade games for when your done with your room also some beverages for all ages.. we will definitely come again... so get out of your comfort zone and give this...

AWESOME ESCAPE ROOMS!!! FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!!! Great business with full arcade, pool and ping pong as well as several EPIC escape rooms. I’ve done around 75 escape rooms around the United States and can say THIS PLACE ROCKS. Very creative, well done 1st and 2nd generation style escape rooms with solid puzzles and no malfunctions with any equipment. VERY FUN for beginners or even more advanced puzzlers.
