The Power House NC — Local services in Rocky Mount

Potential Brides Beware. This is the only venue out of 9 that I've contacted since starting wedding planning a month ago that has made venue touring so difficult. They do not do weekends ever and only tour during peak working hours. I am not using PTO to call off work to visit. I just visited 4 venues this weekend and all were so easy to work with and flexible.

When trying to work with the main contact of the venue, there is little understanding or flexibility.

I'm not sure about the rest of you, but when about to pay a venue upwards of 10k for my whole event, I think they would at least try to do what they can to get my business and work...

Although the venue was beautiful for our wedding, communication with management was poor. Rental items were not returned properly and management changed 3 times in the year we were preparing for our big day. Also, last minute changes occurred such as not allowing us to use the same chairs. Bartenders were not up to par with everyday classic drinks as well as some were rude towards guests as well as bride and groom. Thankfully I had a wedding planner whom was able to handle a majority of the details that were left unhandled...

We couldn't have picked a more perfect venue than The Power House at Rocky Mount Mills for our mom's retirement celebration. The location is gorgeous, and the staff is amazing. Our contact, Amber, was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. She was detailed, kind, knowledgeable, and so helpful, especially with us planning from out of state. We loved her vendor suggestions and how promptly she communicated throughout the entire process. A top-notch venue...
